Waffle House

Loved visiting this location. Our waitress was very friendly. The cook was very entertaining and the food came out fast and tasted good. The facility was nice and clean. Everyone was so attentive. I couldn't ask for anything more 💓

I stopped in at 5am to find several people dancing and cutting up in the restaurant. (No problem. People need to have a little fun) However I ordered and omelette along with another customer and the cook was hanging out in his car in the parking lot. The 1st customer cancelled his food and left. I spoke to both employees and neither one of them are cooks and advised this is normal for this employee. They said he regularly leaves to go outside. So I left while the 2 employees aregued about all the partying that has gone on overnight in the restaurant. I'm getting ready to leave and finally the waitress walked out to the cooks car and asked them to come inside. Unbelievable, Absolutely unbelievable. And let me just say this. The lady inside the restaurant was working her&$#@ off the entire time. She deserves a raise and I would absolutely fire the other 2 who are still on their phones and doing nothing.

I always go to the Downtown North Augusta location when I visit my hometown. While it's age shows, the food is solid and reliable! Staff is quirky but very friendly.

I have never been treated so rudely in a Waffle House. I walk in and there are no clean tables to sit at, and then the waitress cleaned a table. I cannot hear well, and she said I told you 3 times I had a clean table for you. I will never come here again!!!

Busy Sunday morning. We were able to find a booth immediately. They got our orders out quickly. The food was yummy. We will return. They may need to clean the front windows and window seals. They were pretty dirty. Also, the first cup of coffee she sat in front of me had a lady’s lipstick print on it already. 🤢
