Verandas on the Green Apartment Homes

My some and his roommate lived there 2 years. When they moved out, we had a professional cleaning service clean the apartment. They still withheld $800 for "cleaning" needed and some BS repair charges. They sent pictures of the tub, one showed the faucet on the right and the other on the left. I'd love to know how they did that. Be aware about your deposit.

I've been a resident of Verandas for a little over a year. And I must say like any place there's always going to be little issues here and there that needs attention but for the more major issues I must say I haven't had to make big issues out of gettingthings done. The maintenance guys are excellent and work very hard. I would like to give 5 stars to Ty and Shawn for your dedication you put forth with the work I've seen you do. I appreciate you guys!

Worst apartments in aiken, maintenance sucks, the apartments have bugs and everything is 60 years old and patchwork. They nickel and dime you as soon as you move out for things that were actually clean, or not damaged. Worst management ever. My apartment flooded 6 times while there. I will be filing suit for the unsafe conditions/flooding every rain since they wanted to try to nickel and dime me for “damages”. Do not rent here avoid at all costs. The prices are outrageous for the shitty apartments you live in.

Would rate 0 stars if I could!!! I want to start off by saying that I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone ever. The people in the community are disrespectful (besides a select few) and act like they own the place and can do whatever the heck they want. The kids in the neighborhood go around keying peoples vehicles, police are always around because of crazy neighbors having fights and people breaking into your cars stealing stuff. This apartment complex says that they are pet friendly… they are definitely not. The “convenient” bins to throw away pet waste is always overfilling and never disposed of, the dog park consists of dirt, holes, and dog crap… and oh wait more dirt; there is no grass whatsoever. Also if you make complaints about your amazing neighbors throwing choking hazards all over outside (such as trash and whole chicken bones your dog can choke on) they don’t give a crap and talk about you to other employees saying “it’s a dog what do you expect”. They are so worried about making the outside of their office look nice… drive to the back of the complex to see how they really take care of things or go into an actual apartment building (not their fake show apartment). Trash will sit beside bins for months (such as mattress… which smell like mildew due to rain after sitting outside for months), they will leave appliances that are taken out of the apartments outside overnight (which is just trashy looking). oh and also don’t ever get an apartment upstairs because the stairs are not dependable, but also don’t live downstairs either because you can hear every single step your upstairs neighbor makes and will have so many issues with leaks that go unreported from your upstairs neighbor which will cause mildew and black mold!! If you try to deep clean your carpets… don’t because the carpet will turn purple!! (Which will probably be another charge).
