A friend recommended this salon & I’ve been there twice, going back for a third time. I get my hair flatironed, the service is good and the price is affordable for me. I’m gonna make this my go to salon.

Absolutely enjoy the service each time I visit! My hair is washed and styled perfectly with hardly any problems and I'm satisfied. My only gripe is the wait time when getting in. Despite how early the appointment is or how early I arrive, I'm still waiting /at least an hour/ before even getting washed. I wish there was a better system for her to know when her clients come in like a signin or even someone coming out just to ask "hey what time is your appointment?", "Who are you here for", or just keeping tabs on how many are waiting. The service is wonderful and Melanie does amazing work but the waiting is the only thing holding back a higher score from me.

When I left the salon my hairstyle was in place and it was very pretty which was a spiral set for $60. But that same night it fell. I called the shop, and ask for a hair do over. And her assistance said there would be a fee to do my hair again. When I wasn’t @ fault why my hair didn’t last not one whole day. I will not be returning.

This is my third visit to this Salon and the owner is very strong, beautiful and knows her way around hair! This was my daughter's first visit and just to see her face light up after her hair was completed! I knew this Salon was a true blessing as the owner Ms Mel with her awesome talent for hair! If you decide to try the services, I know you won't be disappointed with the results! ABSOLUTELY FAB-U-LOUS!!

Although I was comfortable with my natural tiny afro, I wasn't happy. So after searching online and reading reviews I called and spoke to Melanie who was able to see me that very same day! I was so excited because usually I have to make an appointment which sometimes could take days. So I brought a couple of pics for style examples. She was so easy to talk to and professional. She went straight to work. She was very attentive while relaxing my hair. (Which I appreciated, from past experiences other stylist would work on multiple heads or leave for a long time while my head burned.) I felt so relaxed I thought I might fall asleep during the wash. I'm not sure what she used but it was light and aromatic. I promise you it felt like time flew, because next thing I knew she was done. Words cannot explain how I felt when I saw my hair. She worked a miracle! I love it and my sister's back home can't stop complimenting and touching it. I am very satisfied.
