TruTherapy

Billing practices are absolutely awful. Less than 30 mins before an appt, i was informed that we had a balance of almost $100 with part of it past due and all of it had to be paid or else my daughter couldn't have her therapy appt that day. No bill or explanation of the charges were sent with this message, her copay is $0, and I received no previous bills or mention of payment being due. Fast forward about 2 weeks, same thing happened again. You owe an amount, no explanation, and it had to be paid before her appt in less that 3 hrs. I spoke to their billing dept the first time, he informed me he would speak to the people who handle these messages, as they are supposed to send out messages about billing in the morning. The therapist is great, but their lack of decent billing communication has me hesitant to continue using them. It is very shady that they continually tell you a balance is owed but do not proactively furnish a bill. Updated to add: received really crappy feedback from their office regarding these issues. We ended up calling her Dr's office for another referral to find somewhere more organized. The therapist and Dr here were amazing, I really wish the office staff was more on their game because I would have been 100% satisfied with Trutherapy if we didn't have the issues going on with billing.

Tru therapy was something I stumbled upon while taking my coparenting divorce class; I am so thankful that I did! Mrs. Johnson has truly been an angel to my family. She was amazing; as was everyone in the front office. They are so professional and keep up with you & whats going on with your child. They truly care. My oldest really needed help and guidance with dealing with his feelings and Tru Therapy was our blessing I am thankful I always have the opportunity to return to a place who truly care about my children and their wellbeing.

It's very sad they have some great counselors, but they don't have it together with other things. This is the 3rd time my app gets canceled last minute Brandi the manager doesn't understand that we schedule things for a reason and what works for us. They canceled my app this morning and want me to wait another week to reschedule during my working hours. That's the thing with this clinic they are not organized when it comes to the schedule I'm very disappointed.

Everything about this place makes you feel comfortable… the amazing receptionists, the beautiful decor, and the incredible diversity of counselors available! I got an appointment incredibly quickly which was a surprise after calling around to a bunch of different places. 10/10 would recommend
