Tip Top Taps

21 varieties of beer on tap. Games room on the second floor. There's plenty of seating. Laid back inviting atmosphere. Tip Top Taps is one of the go-to places on Broadstreet in downtown Augusta. I just added it to my favorite list of Augusta breweries.

They carry the best craft beer options in the area from some well known breweries. The staff is always so friendly and knowledgeable about the selection on tap. The space itself has a great layout, however, I do not love the seating options and how it doesn’t fit the feel of the establishment. Again, the space itself is great but I don’t enjoy the atmosphere and for that I often find myself leaving after only one beer. Also, while they have a great beer selection on tap they no longer carry as many beers as they had when they were open in Evans. In Evans, I would be there every other week for their great selection of beers you couldn’t find in any local liquor or grocery store and now they have only a few options. I understand they’ve only been open at this location a few months but do hope they once again expand their to-go selection. Overall, it’s defintely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

I have come here atleast once a month for the past 5 months and they always have new beers on tap and they update on the app UnTapped so you can track which beers you have tried. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves beer, wants to chill and even play some games upstairs. It's never too loud so you can hear your conversation with your friends. The woman beer tender there was very knowledgeable about the beers as she always tries them out to be able to recommend beers to people who stop by. I love that in a business, someone who knows what they are talking about and not just recommend what everyone else is trying. 10/10 would come here again if ever in the area.

So stopped in for a beer on Friday night, lacking some assistance behind the bar. The lady working was admirable in her effort to keep up with orders, etc, but really could have done with a second server.

We went Friday night-a little empty. We enjoyed the live music. The beers would good. Service friendly.
