This attorney is terrible—a scam. We paid a $2,000 retainer for representation before purchasing a property, but he failed to provide any services and did not refund the complete money.

I been a client for almost 40 years. I been totally satisfied with visit. My oldest son was totally satisfied as well. From handling my divorce to handling everything before and after my mom death I was not stressed a bit. I have always been in good hands and know to always come back as I will for a new issue. I higher recommend not only professionally but respectable and friendly.

There is no way I would ever recommend this petty, self-righteous, disdainful man for legal services of any kind ~ least of all for estate planning, which requires a genuine rapport and easy reciprocity between client and attorney. If the lawyer's personality is too judgemental and unyielding, as this man's is, that rapport is impossible to establish. I wasted $100 on 45 minutes of condescension, derision, and back-handed insults. No thanks. To add still more insult to injury, as we were concluding our consultation, he had the nerve to tell me that he was going to "offer me some COMPLEMENTARY legal advice" and then proceeded to drop a dud. Come again? I paid him that $100 before I ever saw his pasty face or heard the first smarmy word out of his mouth, so there was nothing gratis about it! Save your time. Save your dime. The best lawyers usually give free brief initial consultations. So if it's crackerjack estate planning you need, I suggest Aubrey Rhodes. Not only is he widely regarded as the best in town, but he's also sincere, sober, and respectful ~ unlike this mean little man who is completely full of himself.

Talked my mother into a will that, in my opinion, let a friend of his plunder her estate. And we could not even find out what they did with the money. Said he told my 80 year old mother doing a report would cost thousands and you do want your sons to get as much money as possible? Said it was "all legal" and laughed in my face. My brother and I got $12,000 each. Her five bedroom three bath house was recently sold by who they sold it to for over $300,000

Felt as though he was talking down to me in a polite way, I'm sure he had judged me on looks and that I was nervous, seeing as this was the first time I had ever spoken to a lawyer, the experience was underwhelming and disappointing. Thankfully I found a better one and had a better experience.
