Summerville Art & Custom Framing and Tim Conway Photography

Had a large 44x32 poster framed spent $500 up front. They had the poster for over 8 weeks. Upon pickup I noticed it was not ant-reflective glass but did not want the hassle of dealing with them as they had the piece for over 2 months. Strange. I knew something was up. Fast forward, the picture was leaning up against a wall and fell forward and the glass shattered in hundreds of pieces. It was then I realized that the frame was not custom. It was the cheap MDF pre constructed, black frames you buy online. The frame weighs 4 lbs. with no foam core cheap frail thin glass.I was Shocked. Total scam. They will either correct or refund my money. I will not be scammed my hard earned money. Small claims court if I have to.

This is the second year Tim has taken the photos at our employee recognition event. He delivers high quality work, is very professional and kind, and the turnaround time for receiving the photos back is quick. 10/10 highly recommend his services!

Tim was "my framer" for years when I lived in Augusta. His prices were the best and his customer service was wonderful - he was a regular customer of mine at Wolf camera and would often just come to pick up my work from me (and he extended this to my customers I referred to him as well). He has a great eye for frames and mattes that complement prints and is understanding of occasional rushes (photo shows/other events). I also am very familiar with his photography and have always felt he does wonderful, consistant work.

I’ve used Tim and Tara in the past for framing and thought it was great. It NEVER crossed my mind to have them make a custom mirror for my Dining Room. I had been searching for awhile for the right color, size and going the custom route was perfect. Very reasonably priced. As an added bonus for a few extra dollars their son Baillie came and installed. It’s level, secure and done correctly. Thank you Conway family.
