I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude to SRP as an organization, and especially to Beth Smith and the dedicated team that worked behind the scenes to make my trailer loan a reality. As a new business owner, navigating the world of financing felt daunting, like searching for a needle in a haystack. But then I found my way to SRP, and suddenly, what seemed impossible became entirely achievable. Beth was a guiding light throughout the process; her clear communication and unwavering support were invaluable. Whenever challenges arose, she partnered with me to gather the necessary documents for the loan department, turning hurdles into stepping stones. SRP is incredibly difficult and frustrating to work with remotely. Sure, they’re helpful enough in person, but unless you’re physically at a branch, FORGET IT. Absolutely NO way to email anyone who works there. The ONLY way to contact them that actually works is to call on the phone and get routed through a terrible system, talk to people who transfer you to the wrong departments just because they don’t care to help you, and you eventually hang up because it’s useless. I manage financial accounts for my grandparents who are too mentally declined to be competent with their money. They use four different institutions and by FAR, SRP is the absolute worst to work with. Fraudulent checks have been coming out of the checking account. Call on the phone? Get transferred over and over again to “cardholder services” who will tell you to talk to SRP because it’s not card related… get transferred back to SRP and they’ll tell you again to talk to cardholder services. It’s a loop. That didn’t work, so you decide to try messaging in the SRP app. NO RESPONSE EVER. Absolutely disgusting service for account holders who have been with SRP since it was literally FOUNDED.

Absolutely every time I have to interact with the bank personnel I have left feeling better and more often than not smiling and glad SRP is my bank. Secure and very much looked after the way I remember banks used to treat the customer. Sam in particular was extremely helpful and recommended ways for me to get a problem with online purchases resolved. So... Yup highly recommend
