SouthState Bank

Hello I often look for new banks. I visited this bank today spoke with two individuals and neither were very customer service friendly. I was hoping to find out more about this bank. Based on this visit I don't believe I should waste my time and I would recommend that you do not either.

***DO NOT BACK WITH THIS BANK!!*** South State is absolutely the WORST regional bank I’ve ever dealt with in my life. They have no customer service skills and horrible policies about removing a secondary person from an account. Tried to remove someone from MY account and couldn’t without them being there or having a death certificate. My account ended up overdrafted and charged off. Now, I canceled something that was originally charged to my SS debit card and I can’t get those funds because they’re applying it towards the balance owed that lawfully isn’t mine.

Amber Henseler could not have been nicer or more professional this afternoon assisting me with my banking needs. I applaud management for hiring this super sharp young lady!!

Financial sales representative Susan Poe helped me open my business account at South State Bank on wheeler Rd. The customer service was excellent. Peach orchard Rd. South State Bank customer service was horrible. Thanks again Susan Poe!!!

I wish I could give them a ZERO‼️‼️‼️ The teller shorten me my money by $50 at the drive-thru. Be sure to count your money bc they are taking what's not theirs‼️ LOCATION: South Bank on Wheeler Rd. Augusta, Ga so when I went back... they found it, by chance. But, IF I would not have said anything the teller would've had her $50 extra dollars at my expense, I think NOT
