Snelling Conference Center

I was completely dissatisfied with the hospitality from a place prided on hospitality. The tech was a bust and there was no attendant or coordinator was readily available. We had to search for them and set up our own tables. We were also charged for those services. Our event was thrown off schedule from having to do the job we were charged for. I will not use this facility again. First impressions are lasting and this one was horrible. POST REVIEW ACTIONS I appreciate Melissa Mundy reaching out via a phone call to work toward resolving our issues. We did receive a partial refund and an offer to find out about their usual hospitality at Edgar's. Though we cannot recreate the event and the time loss, it was a nice gesture. I may consider this facility in the future if the proper adjustments to their tech and attendant execution can be met. The facility it self is quite nice with amazing parking. I'm looking forward to my time at Edgar's to see what they are actually like. A fresh first impressions opportunity.

The team at Edgar’s and the Snelling Center do a wonderful job! We held a reception there recently and Melissa Mundy, who oversaw our event, made sure every detail went according to plan. Food was great, staff were warm and welcoming, and the service was top-notch. Really very pleased and would recommend this space without reservation.

I recently held an event at the Snelling Center, and the service and food were wonderful! From coordination to execution, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They really exceeded expectations -- highly recommend, and we can't wait for the next one! :)

It's probably a very nice venue if you're simply attending an event there, but not if you're hosting. It was near impossible to find staff to meet our needs on the days of event, vendor tables were not set up upon arrival (we were charged set up fees), and not all of the microphones or outlets worked effectively. When discussing our issues with the staff, they stated that they were sorry that we "perceived" our experience the way we did as if we were lying despite the pictures and several eye witnesses that could back up our claims. Very disappointed in the managements' hospitality.

I would like to start by saying I loved the location of the space, nice size to host gatherings, clean location including restroom also had very nice mirrors. However we did experience some not so lovely bumps in the road during Ignite 2024. As a speaker the last thing you want to experience is a microphone 🎤 that doesn't work and no one around from the event space staff to replace it and or fix the problem ⚠️⚠️⚠️ Our team also experienced light issues while utilizing the space and staff concerns. On the final day of the event 3/9/24 at about noon there was 1 young lady working by her self stacking chairs who is amazing and very pleasant so shout out to her. I pray that this review feedback will be helpful to the snelling conference center when it comes to hosting your guest. What we water will grow, please take the necessary steps to pour into your location and staff. #Ignite2024 #IgniteWomensWellnessEvent
