Terrible experience!! Don’t count on them to help you if you are in an accident. My mom (an elderly Hispanic woman) who is insured with them was recently in a no-fault accident. When I called to ask them to help her with the process they said that they can’t do anything unless the claim is with them. Meaning the only way they will help is if you are the one at fault. The other insurance company has threatened to close the claim because they are asking my mom to do things that she is unfamiliar with. Aside from this it’s also not advisable to speak directly with the other insurance company because they could use what you say against your claim in order for them to pay less or not pay at all for your losses. What’s the point of paying your insurance company if they won’t help you when you need them. Much more when it wasn’t your fault. The call ended with “what’s your name?”…”o, you’re not on the policy”, then hanging up…
