We’ve banked with regions for many years. We’ve always made our payments on time, and never over drafted. We call and ask for help (in the form of a deferred payment) because I’m getting a new job and they pay monthly. They claimed they were unable to, but offered to do an “loan modification”. Amazing that they can’t grant a simple deferred payment, but can refinance a mortgage and gain a higher interest rate for themselves. While I can’t switch mortgage companies at this time due to interest rates being ridiculous, it will be something I do in the future. I will also be switching to another bank for my personal banking needs.

I can not speak highly enough of this branch. On short notice, they were able to help me get bank accounts set up for 14 people that spoke little to no english. Customer service is 10/10, and the willingness to help from everyone at the branch was amazing to see. I can not understate how helpful they were. They have gained a customer for life! I highly recommend the North Augusta branch of Regions for any and all of your banking needs! Great people all around.

I really don't understand the negative reviews. The staff is excellent, I've banked there for a decade after giving up on the long lines at Wachovia. The staff recognizes you when you walk in, greets you by name and knows what they are doing. Very efficient. The landscaping around the building is poor however, they don't maintain the shrubs (some missing, some alive, some dead), the grass is dead and they beds for annuals not usually planted, landscaping debris between and ATM and street, etc. North Augusta downtown is very pretty, Regions needs to do their part.

Joann Newhouse, the manager at the North Augusta Branch for Regions really needs a lesson in Customer Service and she working in the Customer Service Industry. Two separate occasions over the past 2 days were sad. In both times, her interactions with her employees were very demanding, short, abrupt, and unprofessional. As to her customers waiting in a line, she attitude carried over. Directly in response to me, a commercial account, making a deposit, she’s commented on two “policies” that I’m doing incorrectly and when questioned about how come there’s been no notice, no communication to a change to my management staff, etc... she continued to become even more unprofessional and abrupt in her tone and responses. Both days the bank was busy and short staffed, (have been for a long time), and instead on helping her staff tie care of customers, she just sat back barking orders and demanding her staff to do better, when they were working their butts off already. They both literally cowered in her remarks and acted like a shell shocked puppy after being scolded time after time. I hope this review reaches her and that she gets a chance to see that her actions reflect nothing but ugliness on her staff, her company, and her own reputation.
