Real Life Barbering & Hair Salon

Recently "discovered" this shop while out running errands. (Started growing my hair out the same year they opened which is why I never noticed it). • This is a men's salon. • Mustache and beard care/style isn't an afterthought, nor is it a mystery here. • Some/all stylists are contractors which may leave pricing open. (Didn't see any posted set price list and you pay the stylist directly. Be sure to discuss with your stylist prior so you aren't surprised later.) • Lack of tech integration (appointments/POS system etc) keeps pricing low but means you have to call to make an appointment. (😱 The HORROR 😂) • A bit cramped due to the split layout but cramped for the stylist felt "cozy" as the customer. • Rear lounge area and back kiosk seem to be under/mis used. • Liked the decor and ambiance. I'll be returning.

The guys at real life are great. The atmosphere is cool, the prices are fair, and the guys are excellent at what they do. There's really nothing bad to say, as long as you understand they are busy, so it's not a "walk in and get a haircut in a few minutes" type place. Make an appointment ahead of time, and you'll have a wonderful experience.

Arrived without an appointment. Friendly and welcoming. Did not wait long before Adam was able to cut my hair. He was great. Great conversation and haircut was awesome. First haircut in GA after transferring here recently. Lucked out to find my new regular bartender on a first visit after looking at reviews. . Great vibe in the place. Was definitely in the minority with no facial hair but clearly those with beards flock to the place for great service and shaves. Prices reasonable
