Stopped in to the deli try their fried chicken in North Augusta SC and it was crazy busy and the lady who finally got around to halfway taking my order was short but rude when I tried to inquire as to how the boxes were set as far as how many sides came with it and the price but then she passed me off to a much nicer lady to finish my order thank goodness! The fried chicken was worth the drive along with the tater logs and the fried shrimp was amazing and really good size!

My family + I recently had a fantastic experience here! As we were checking out, one of the young men working near the register, offered to unload our groceries from our shopping cart for us, which was unexpected and very kind! (I didn’t catch his name but it was Feb 2nd early morning). Then as we were checking out a lovely woman named Phyllis started chatting with us. I believe she’s one of the managers. We were explaining to her that my son just moved to Augusta and we were helping him get all set up in his new apartment. She introduced herself and told my son not to be a stranger and even told us about a few popular restaurants for lunch or dinner. She made us feel very welcome, her kindness and happiness shines bright! It’s so nice to meet people like Phyllis, she’s a wonderful example for all of us and we thank you for that🫶

The store is clean and well stocked. The staff is friendly and helpful. The sales are worth watching. The bakery department is like no other around. Easy parking.

Two weeks ago, my daughter and I were at Publix with her son (my grandson) who had just gotten a job in Augusta. We were getting him settled in his new apartment and of course, he needed everything. When we were checking out Phyllis came over to greet us and when she found out Nate had just moved to the area, she welcomed him and proceeded to say she looked forward to seeing him in the store often. She shared some of her favorite restaurants and places to go nearby. It was a lovely experience and I am so grateful for the warm welcome she gave us. It was truly one of the highlights of the trip getting him settled in his new home. Thank you Phyllis for your kindness to my grandson. As grandmom, I smile every time I remember the encounter. PS: The store is so nice too...organized, immaculate. Great shopping astmosphere!

Today I got an awful attitude from the deli employee Ms Marie(older Haitian woman). She misheard what type of sub I wanted and it was all down hill from there. I can understand I was also multi tasking a call initially but the attitude remained long after I gave her my undivided attention. Fun fact: No One Goes to Publix For Attutude! Note: I eat Publix subs and fruit 5 days a week. I’ll just make sure to avoid this one!
