I recently had a frustrating experience with planet home lending Mortgage Company that I feel compelled to share. From the very beginning, it was clear that this company does not prioritize professionalism or customer service. The representatives I interacted with were not only unhelpful but often seemed distracted and overwhelmed. One of the most alarming aspects of my experience was the environment in which their employees were working in. During several phone calls, the agent was yelling and cursing at her in the background, which was not only unprofessional but also uncomfortable. It was evident that the employees were working from home, and the chaos of their personal lives spilled over into our conversations, making it difficult to communicate effectively. Additionally, there were frequent interruptions as children could be heard screaming and playing in the background. This lack of focus and respect for the work environment made it nearly impossible to discuss important financial matters, leaving me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. Overall, I cannot recommend planet home lending Mortgage Company based on my experiences. They need to address their work-from-home policies and ensure that their employees are in a suitable environment to provide the quality service that clients deserve. If you're looking for a mortgage company that takes customer service seriously, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I received a letter stating that my loan just got transferred to Planet Home Lending. I reached out to them asking about payment options, they took all of my information as if I was applying for a loan for the first time. When I inquired more, they basically told me in the most casual, non-business talk method possible, to just call back in a couple of weeks for an update. I have no idea what's awaiting me down the road. But in over 2 decades as a homeowner, I've never felt more uneasy with my lender in my life. It feels like I'm dealing with some international scammers or something.

If I could go lower than a 1, believe me I would! We closed on our house A WEEK ago and Plant Home Lending isn’t releasing the exact amount we need to close on our house! They won’t give it to us the lendees, they won’t give it to our closing attorney. They are literally holding our mortgage hostage!!! Absolutely, do NOT use them for ANYTHING! They are crooks, to be polite!!!! What kind of mortgage company doesn’t give you the amount to pay off your house? They want to keep making money off of us I guess??!!

Planet Home Lending Purchased my mortgage from my original provider. Before we were notified of the change, a payment was made to the original mortgage company. Fast forward 3 months and the sheer frustration I have due to the lack of professionalism and poor process and the lack of processes is overwhelming. I received multiple calls from their call center notifying me of my past due status and on each had to walk the agent through the history and that it was their company who has the action item not me. Each Time the agent said they were documenting so that future agents would have the detail however it is obvious you are simply a number in their system. What I mean is simple: Planet Home Lending shows a past due and sends their agents to collect "without" making sure they understand the full details and that the are not instead harassing good customers. A simple toggle button that the agent can select to temporarily opt out of collection calls for accounts where the issue is not tied to their customer would be an easy fix.... It reached a crescendo this weekend when I received a formal letter on Saturday saying quote "Your mortgage loan with our company is seriously delinquent and in default." What a way to send your customer into a weekend when your call center conveniently closes for the weekend and there is no way to contact. After multiple interactions with my "new" motgage provider Planet Home, it is sad that the only positive thing I can say is I did not choose this company.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY IN LIFE. MY PARENT WHO IS A VETERAN PASSED AWAY AND THEY DIDNT GIVE TWO FLIPS. I TRIED TO SETTLE BY SELLING THE PROPERTY TO GIVE THEM THE PRINCIPAL BALANCE BACK WHICH WAS ADVISED TO ME BY THEM DURING MY MOM TRANSITION. GET THE HOME TO POSITION TO SELL AND THEY TACKED ON OVER 15 THOUSAND EXTRA AND END UP MORE THAN WHAT MY MOM LOAN WAS FOR. THEY MAKE UP ANYTHING TO KEEP YOU FROM SETTLING THE MORTGAGE. I CAN SAY A WHOLE LOT MORE IN DETAIL BUT I DON'T WANT NOBODY TO USE THIS COMPANY USE A REAL BANK. NOT THIS BOOTLEG LOAN SHARK OF A COMPANY ESPECIALLY FOR VETERANS. IF I CAN GIVE THEM -5 STARS I WOULD.
