Piedmont Prompt Care of Grovetown

On Mar 23, 2025, I was seen within 5 min of arrival for extreme allergy reaction to pollen. They were concerned about my upcoming pacemaker procedure, so they completed X-rays, EKG, covid, flu, and thorough physical exam within 20 min. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Facility is several years old but looks like new and well maintained. This must be one of the best operations in to area, since I've had to visit many locations over the past 5 years.

I was seen on June 26, 2025, as a pregnant patient for symptoms of a UTI. I provided a urine sample and was prescribed antibiotics. I was told that my urine culture would be sent off and that the results would be available in 2–3 days. On July 7, I received a voicemail from Julie, NP, informing me for the first time that my urine culture was never sent. I was not given any explanation as to why this happened, despite the clear emphasis during my appointment on the serious risks a UTI can pose during pregnancy, including preterm labor and kidney infection. This is completely unacceptable!

Sorry for the late review but I visited this facility in August right before my wedding due to my leg hurting. I was confident it was a muscle strain but wanted to be sure since my wedding was coming up I didn’t want to limp down the aisle. The doctor was so rude! Her last name is Ogelsby and she didn’t even look at my leg she just told me go to the ER to make sure it wasn’t a blood clot. I have no history of blood clots and didn’t understand why she wouldn’t even look at my leg. When I expressed to her that I rather not sit in ER and create a bill for something that I know and she knew wasn’t the case. Her response was, “Well if you don’t then you’ll be walking somewhere else and it won’t be down the aisle.” Like what is that to tell someone who’s looking forward to their big day. It truly crushed me and I promise I don’t care what my situation is I will NEVER visit this location again. Thankful that my primary care who works for Peidmont as well is more caring and concerning.

Everyone that works at this prompt Care did a great job. The wait time was about five minutes.

Been trying for a couple of days to get prescription refills and they have yet to send them over to the pharmacy. The pharmacy has sent a request for refills and we also stopped by the doctor office to see if we could get it done.
