Worst emergency room experience ever. I have been in pain around my ribs and back area… afraid that it was possibly uti or kidney stones. These ppl took their precious time. I wish someone would come in and reconstruct this whole system. I’m sooo frustrated I can’t express it enough right now. Been here since 4 now 9pm. Only thing they have accomplished is getting a urine sample and a chest X-ray that I didn’t need I told these folks I had problems around my ribs and kidney. Why the heck would you X-ray my chest. Sigh. I’m pissed.

This review will be long and i beg you to read it before going here. Like other reviews have stated they take their time here however it goes way past taking time and goes right into not caring. I came into the emergency room after being in a different hospital the same morning for coughing up blood and stomach pain. I started having what i can only describe as the worst pain i’ve ever felt in my life later in the night and my spouse called 911 and took me to piedmont because it was closest and the pain was so bad i was puking and could not move . Well I sobbed for hours and the only thing that was done was blood pressure when i arrived in the ambulance. I was then wheeled to a waiting room where i continued to cry in pain for hours. My spouse wanted to ask someone to just help me or see me because i was taken there in an ambulance and couldn’t bare the pain and there was not a staff member in sight. And i mean that literally when i say it, just a bunch of us patients waiting in a room with 0 medical staff. God forbid someone falls while in this hospital they would probably be found a hour later dead. I cried so hard for so long i eventually told my spouse i would rather cry in pain in my bed than cry here and sit in this chair another second. If it’s serious then i guess we will see if i die in my sleep because what’s the point of going to a hospital for help to be crying in pain when i can cry in pain at home or be taken to another place. After another hour of waiting because my spouse begged me to wait one more hour and see if they help me we left, and of course there was not anyone to say anything because there was not a single medical professional. not even a person at the desk. Honestly i’m unsure as to the legality of what i experienced but I have a meeting with my navy attorney (we are military) and if i can sue this hospital i will 110% be doing so. The amount of pain i felt was hard enough but sitting there knowing nobody was coming while i sobbed scar...

The ER doctor gave me a prescription however, she did not sign it. I had a family to take it to my pharmacy but they couldn’t fill it. The hospital could not call in the medication which I understand. I was unable to go back to the hospital due to crutches and leg brace. The doctors need to ensure that they have checked behind themselves because this could have been a different outcome such as giving someone the wrong medication.

I went to the ER February 27th 2025. For the most part the staff were friendly and helpful. Test results show that I was extremely dehydrated, and I feel that they should have at least given me IV fluids but they did not. So that is my only complaint and why I only gave three stars

The long wait times are not a joke or exaggeration, people across from me weren’t pulled in for 7+ hours. We’ve been here 4+ and there’s no speeding things up. If they’re gonna be this far behind, someone in management should work out an overtime option for off duty folks to come in and help when they get too far behind. Closing in on 7 hours, most others have been here longer. This isn’t an emergency room, they don’t even seem to care. I will absolutely be reporting this to whoever will listen. Worst emergency room and treatment I’ve ever received. Final time, we weren't seen for 10 hours. Credit where it's due, the doctor was pleasant and professional. Can't say the same for the rest of the staff. Follow up, they sent us out and said not to worry about any of the paperwork. I wondered why that might be, it's so they wait until we were gone to charge us for the insane bill! Over $600 for the awful experience. What a wretched institution, I'm thoroughly disgusted by my experience and how this institution chooses to run their business, highly immoral. Also, despite what their response comment said, they never called or reached out to me, maybe they did my wife, but I haven't heard anything.
