Recently moved to Augusta. Dropped off my dog to get a grooming service. The package included furminator bath “with up to 20 minutes of brushing with the FURminator & undercoat tools…”. The pictures seen here are of me brushing all the fur out of her coat. After picking her up I could clearly see tuffs of hair sticking out and I was able to pull an excessive amount of fur with one swipe of my hand. Additionally, I had to ask them to trim her hair from her pads AFTER I went to pick her up. They clearly did not brush on single time and just did a quick bath and dry (which she was still a little wet when I picked her up).

I am giving 3 stars because the cashier was friendly, and the two ladies I shared my concerns with were also helpful. However, my experience at PetSmart today was less than satisfactory. My granddaughter, daughter, and I were looking at the fish when I pointed out the koi and asked my daughter if we should consider adding one to our tank (as a joke). An employee abruptly interrupted us, stating she would not sell me that fish. I explained that our tank is 75 gallons, but she insisted that only a tank of 250 gallons or more was acceptable. While I appreciate her concern for the fish, her customer service was terrible. When I tried to inquire about larger tanks, she repeated that I wasn’t getting the fish and then walked away without allowing me to finish my question. This type of service is unacceptable. My cat needs prescription cat food, which we buy at this location, along with our dog food, fish food, pet supplies, and my daughter's bearded dragon supplies. We also support the local rescues that come with the dogs and have even adopted one. This has been our go-to for pet supplies for 6 years. I have always enjoyed visiting and only left with the cat food, but only because I didn't have another choice.

- We chose this groomer for competitive pricing and range of services. - Dog has skin allergies; uses specific medicated shampoo. - Last two appointments: staff used entire bottle of medicated shampoo despite instructions. - Each visit costs approximately $81 ($22 for new shampoo bottle, $59 for Bath & Brush package with nail grind). - Last appointment: staff failed to trim paw pad hair. - Due to repeated issues, will seek grooming services elsewhere.

Stopped by Pet Smart to pick up a very small collar for my little dog today and was greeted with friendly cashier but after this it was lost cause for me! She pointed me in that direction and when I couldn’t find what I needed I decided to look for an associate to which I gave up after a couple of isles to no help so I sent my granddaughter to the cashier for help only to told to wait someone would be there so I ended up having to go back and ask again for help and this time they sent a very sweet young girl who took ten minutes getting there but she knew what she was doing and her personality was great but prices are way to high for me to have run down isles and beg people to come help me! Really not good customer service

Well, this place has changed over time. The last time I was there, the cashier was rude. But, this time around, it was a different cashier she was very helpful and nice. I was looking for something and she was kind enough to explain to me about it. Great customer service, I must say. The place was organized and clean other than the smell of dogs, which is understandable it has a grooming area.
