Customer service is so weird in this store Some of the staff are delightful but some act as if they are bothered by my presence and I stopped going there some time ago I had to go there today to return something for my daughter with all the receipts printed out because it was purchased online The cashier had it all scanned and then the manager came over and said that it could not go back on my daughter’s card and that it would have to be a gift card Then she said β€œ why did she buy all this stuff if she didn’t want it ? Now I have to put it back on the shelf β€œ What business is that of hers? AND She did not have to PUT IT BACK on the shelves because it was purchased online Then she asked me for my drivers license and then decided that she would not do the return and my daughter has to come in herself What a strange way to run a business

My stepmom recently passed away and left 2 cats behind that had no one to care for them. I tried everywhere in the area and no one would help me find placement for the cats. The SPCA said they were completely full and the local animal shelter was extremely rude to me. I called the cat adoption center here on a prayer hoping they could at least send me in the right direction and they did. Thank you Autumn from the bottom of my heart as I couldn’t have done this without you!!! It is a relief to know they will have a good home and that there are still good and caring people in the world.

The grooming team took great care of my baby! I was nervous about dropping him off for his first ever grooming session but everyone was so kind and Taylor did a great job. He looks so handsome and smells great!

We wanted to exchange a small dog food container we pur hased a few days earlier. The top would not screw on most attempts. When It did catch it often seemed like it was cross threaded. We walked in and we still had food in the container. We just wanted to get a new one that worked properly and pour the food into the new container. The manager came over and this is where the problems started. She looked at the product and tried it. After a couple of tries she succeeded but then didn't get it again. However, she decided that since she got it to work that time, that the store could not honor their exchange policy. I was completely dumbfounded. I asked her again if she was serious and she said yes. I said I want a complete refund. I went out to the car and grabbed a bag. Came back inside and started pouring the food from the container into the bag. She started hemming and hawing about that. It had to be in sellable condition, I just went forward and she processed the refund. Now what did we learn. As a manager you could have simply processed the exchange. You agreed to return it, and at that point I was free to buy the other one that worked. You could have simply processed the exchange and avoided pissing off a customer (BTW I have been a PetSmart customer since the 90s.) I was part of the Banfield insurance program when we lived close. We just moved close to one and this is how we were treated. PetCo, less than 2 miles away seems like a great place to start shopping. PetSmart - TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES ION CUSTOMER SERVICE
