Petsense by Tractor Supply

I try to support the businesses in the community that I live. I have been coming to this location for the past 2 years and I have set up a frequent customer account. I make weekly purchases for my Bearded Dragon and my dog. Today was the worst visit since I’ve been a customer. The young lady that I asked for assistance was very short and rude and far from what I had grown to anticipate from this location I asked about the 4 count horned worms. There were only 2 container and in each container there were only 3 worms, one large and 2 small ones. I asked her if the pricing was the same or if I could combine the containers? She was very rude in her response and said no, that was just the risk I had to take and the price remained the same. When I began to explain that has not been what has happened in the past because the count on the worms isn’t always consistent and the store normally will adjust accordingly. She shrugged her shoulders and said “well she’s not on the clock so that’s the price”. I asked her why I would be charged for what wasn’t there and she again shrugged and walked off. This lady was very dismissive and short. I left without making a purchase. I was going to let it go but the interaction really bothered me because she does not represent the level of customer service I am accustomed to at this store. I called back to speak with the store manager and I could hear the conversation between the person that answered the phone and the manager “Kim”. The lady that answered the phone informed Kim, “They want to speak with you”, Kim’s response we, “No they don’t”… I chose not to continue the call. On this great beautiful Sunday, I refuse to allow rude store employees to ruin my day.

I’ve been bringing my puppy here since her very first grooming appointment, but after nearly a year, we’ve reached a point of frustration. During our most recent visit, I was informed that she had been difficult and they were unable to trim her face. I was naturally upset, but I thought perhaps she was just feeling stressed. However, as I was checking out, a staff member from the front—not the grooming area—mentioned, "Your dog bit me." I was taken aback and asked why that had happened, and why she was even back there. It turns out they had requested help to hold down my tiny 5-pound Morkie while they attempted to cut her face! This completely stressed out my little girl, and I was furious to learn that they had essentially forced the issue, and after struggling, they gave up. When I got home, I was able to trim her face without any trouble using puppy shears. I initially thought that maybe my dog was just reacting to the main groomer, Shari, not being there. However, when I picked her up today, Shari told me that my dog was again difficult and wouldn’t allow them to use the clippers. I asked if they had tried using shears instead, and the response was that she was too erratic for that approach. I expressed my frustration about how traumatizing the previous experience had been for my pup, but the blame seemed to fall solely on her. I was told, “Oh no, our last groomer is the gentlest person.” At this point, I’m starting to see a troubling pattern and have decided that we will be taking our business elsewhere.

We visited last week to have our long haired German Shepard groomed. They did an amazing job! His cut was perfect. They trimmed his belly, chest, the backs of his legs, paws, and pawpads so well! He also received the best deshedding treatment that he has ever gotten! He looks so handsome! We will definitely be returning with him and our other pup in the future. Thank you!!!

I didn't even know this was a thing. I love Tractor Supply so it makes sense that I would also love Petsense. Store was clean and well stocked and had some nice sales going on. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we will definitely be going back.

Was followed around and was rudely told to leave had a camera in my face the entire time . Then say I wasn't allowed back in there but other people told me I was. Corpate told me I could. And was recorded and followed the entire time. It's good to see what type of people yall haired and keep this is my second complaint with hwr I didn't say anything was just trying to do my business and leave and was really rude both of the ladies where fire mj
