Petsense by Tractor Supply

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products Petsense had to offer. I'm sending all of my friends with pets here because it was a peaceful experience!

Kimberly and Sarah was absolutely amazing and so patient while trying to revive my friend’s bearded dragon! Would definitely recommend the Augusta location instead of the Grovetown pet sense location! Ladies if you see this.. y’all are absolutely amazing and deserve a raise for helping my friend out for 2 hours while also helping customers out!

The store (56/ Mike Padgett hwy) was clean, set up nice and has a great selection of pet foods for such a small store. It’s sort of like a baby PetSmart. I did see they offer grooming and adoptions which is nice for the area it’s in. However, I didn’t purchase anything based on the same reason I have rated them low, which is as follows. I walked in excited to check this place out and I seemed to be the only person in the store other than the female employee at the front desk. She did say hello but was on the phone already as I walked in. Which is not an issue. The topic of discussion was what I found distasteful. Apparently, another employee named Maria never does her assigned tasks in full and how everytime she works it’s a problem because she doesn’t take coaching well either. Specific issues with crickets and something about powder that can’t be seen over a brown surface? Apparently when this female employee (possibly now a manager based on what’s being said) tries to explain what isn’t getting done or the correct process to take Maria says “I know” and acts like she’s knows everything. This lady was talking louder than seemed normal in a fairly empty and quiet store so there was no getting away from it because everywhere in the store is within earshot of the front desk. It almost came across like she wanted everyone to hear what was going on. I know by personal experience that no place/job is perfect but to discuss employee issues and talk down about them out in the open while there are customers in the store is WILD! At this point others had come in too so it wasn’t just me. I decided not to get anything because 1 I didn’t want to interrupt her conversation because she had previously stated all the problems she was having, how things weren’t done and basically she had a lot on her plate. Which I get and am empathetic to. 2 because I felt like the situation was very unprofessional and I just wanted to leave. I considered quietly mentioning this to the employe...

Just stopped in to get some crickets and cat treats. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Really appreciate their kindness.

Avoid the groomers. Picked my dog up and the only noticeable thing done was her nails. But even her nails were messed up. Couldn't tell she had been bathed as she had the musky dog smell still. Ears weren't cleaned. Will not return here.
