Petco Grooming

I brought my dog Charlie to Petco. Me and my dad has rescued him from Florida he was malnourished and hair just awful , we took him to the vet and I tried looking for a grooming place and came across Petco. Very resonable price and left him with his hair looking great. I had a man named Adrian A. very respectful and very helpful I was unsure how short Cavalier King Charles Spaniel hair is supposed to be since the only dogs we have are a lab and a chihuahua and he helped me with that. Charlie came back smelling amazing and looking better than ever. Will definitely be coming back!! (I put some before and afters 1st photo is before 2,3,4 are after)

I’ve had previous excellent experience with this Grooming facility, however the latest Grooming experience was absolutely horrific. My dog was almost unrecognizable and was completely shaved in frigid cold temperatures. She is an indoor dog, but can barely stay outside more than 15 minutes to use the bathroom. She has absolutely no hair on her. The only reason I was given that she was shaved is because she was matted. My dog was previously groomed at this facility less than eight weeks prior. She has very tight curls. She is a goldendoodle and very difficult to brush out. But I had brushed her out three days prior. There was absolutely no reason she should’ve been shaved. I was not called nor asked. I gave explicit instructions on how to groom her. If this could not be accomplished, I should’ve received a call before they did such a thing she will not need to be groomed for months if not a year. Below are her before and after pictures. She is almost unrecognizable.

I recently took my dog to Petco for grooming, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The groomer cut my dog's hair too short, leaving his skin exposed, and didn’t follow my instructions. I had been growing his hair for months to achieve the look of a Yorkie, but now he resembles a Chihuahua. I'm really saddened by this, especially since I expected the groomer to be experienced based on the appearance of my dog. I no longer feel I can trust places like this to groom my dog. I'm an angry customer.

Got my dog groomed with her normal cut. She looks beautiful. I’m only giving 4 stars because They keep forgetting to add her bow. I even asked to make sure they remember and they still forgot it.

DO NOT TAKE ANY DOODLES HERE. We have a fluffy Aussie doodle. We asked them to trim her face and feet and cut her all around a little bit shorter for the summer. They pulled out a chart and asked what length we wanted, and we showed them a medium length cut. We specifically requested they leave her doodle looking face. We got our dog back shaved to the bone. She is not at all the length we requested and looks like a completely different dog. This is the second time we came here, and the last time they left her face as we wanted and shaved her a little shorter than we wanted but not as short as this. These groomers just shave doodles because it's easier than putting in time to do what you requested. I have attached a before and after photo to show. Our dog was so fluffy and we said a slight trim and she comes back bald.
