Came here couple years ago to celebrate girlfriends’ birthdays and had the most wonderful experience. I just hate going out that way and tend to stick to something closer… today, I decided to take my hubby there and now he’s hooked and he is now willing to drive me out there anytime I want! 😆 Food is amazing and the service is stellar! Our server went above and beyond and spent a few minutes with us to give us some recommendations and made sure all was up to our standards.

I had the best biryani here in a long, long time! The aroma hit me the moment the plate arrived, and every bite was bursting with rich spices and perfectly cooked rice. The meat was tender, flavorful, and fell apart effortlessly. It’s rare to find biryani that’s so well-balanced— neither too oily nor too dry, just pure perfection. The service was warm and prompt, and the ambiance made the whole experience even better. If you’re a biryani lover, this place is a must-visit. Already planning my next visit!

So have been wanting to try this place for a while. We are very adventurous and love to try new foods. The menu is loaded with all kinds of yummy food. The two entrees and one appetizer we had were wonderful. One of our favorite things about Indian is the fact that every dish is cooked differently from any other Indian restaurant you go to. They get a 10 for flavor. Highly recommend

Went soon after the restaurant opened for the day. Food was amazing and everything tasted fresh! We ordered the vegetarian sampler for an appetizer and were able to try a variety of Indian sides. I would highly recommend this! For dinner we ordered the butter lamb and lamb curry. Both tasted fresh and they give a really good portion. Would recommend this place to friends and family!

Persis is my favorite Indian restaurant in Augusta! I love the extensive vegetarian menu and I have loved every curry that I've tried! My favorites are the samosa chaat, cheese butter masala, shahi paneer, navratna korma, and malai kaftan! And the mango lassi and masala Chai are excellent drinks!
