Perfect Tan

I only gave 2 stars for not being flexible. Of course, customers should know better whether to purchase a package or individual sessions, especially if they are starters. I have an autoimmune skin condition that's very new and rarely causes problems, but when it does, it's new and I don't know what causes it. It's not fun. But it has nothing to do with the sun. I paid for a package. But I had to take a 3-week break because of the medication the doctor prescribed to me. I purchased a package (for 3 months) and in the second week, I told customer service I might need to take a 2-3 week break because I have to avoid the sun while on the medication. But I would try to make it up. The salon was closed on many other days I wanted to go, so I understood that customers got a 1-week extension. I walked into the salon and had 2 sessions left, but I was a few days late. I hoped they would be helpful and understanding. I didn't want to abuse the system. I only requested to use one of my paid sessions, and I agreed that next time I would do better and just choose and pay for individual sessions. Probably the owner or the manager who was at the reception desk smiled and said unfortunately she couldn't be flexible. She could, but she was not willing to give me the option. I felt she was educating me, like I am a child, about my responsibilities and time and money management. It is just an observation about how two people approach a problem and an issue. Every case is different, and I feel in my case she had the chance to handle it better. The salon is still a good business, but my impression reflects on their behavior. I feel the approach could be at least empathetic to a certain degree ( to get to know the customer, would help make better decisions, for the businesses long term. 2024 was my first year going to Perfect Tan. It is 2025 and I will definitely be going back! Environment is clean, beds are great and service is top tier! Staff was very friendly. I had lots of questions and perfect tan was very knowledgeable and helpful

I’ve been using this place for years and have always been thoroughly pleased. Melissa does a great job of keeping the business running smoothly, extremely clean, and she has the best prices in the CSRA! I started using her Red Light Therapy lately and can tell a significant difference in my health (read up on it!) Maddie and her other employees are always friendly and do a great job. Highly recommended!!

Perfect Tan is the best tanning salon around! Always friendly and respectful staff, it’s always clean & sanitary, and you get amazing deals and prices on the memberships, the different beds (and red light therapy beds, and spray tans) and the tanning lotions! The tanning salon for me is relaxing and I want to have a beautiful tan - both of which I get to have every time I walk in! I’ve been going to this salon for over a year and I absolutely love it! I get compliments all the time on my tan also ☺️ Highly recommend, even if you’re just wanting a nice spray tan or some red light therapy - they are all great services and deals! You won’t regret trying this salon!!!

I would never tan anywhere else but Perfect Tan! It’s the CLEANEST salon there is and the beds are amazing. They constantly change there bulbs to make sure you get the best quality tan and the staff is great. I always feel welcomed and I’ve never had a bad experience coming here since I’ve started tanning. Best salon in Augusta.
