Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

We typically have a great experience at this olive garden but last night! Last night was the absolute worst!!!!! Autumn was our waitress and you could definitely tell she did NOT want to be there. We’re definitely forgotten. On to food. Salad was good. We got the spinach artichoke dip!! Did the title have broccoli in it anywhere! No it didn’t. Had broccoli all in it. I got the chicken gnocchi soup it was ok. Also got the fried lasagna asked for marinara sauce instead of meat sauce. Came out with meet. Made waitresses aware. She took it back scrapped off the meat sauce and dumped marinara on it. Now I’m pissed. Pointed it out and she took it back. Now I’ve received it again this time same stuff different plate. They have flipped it over and covered it with marinara. I took it home to my dogs and didn’t eat it. Hubs got steak rare. Came out super done and with an already used steak knife. Needless to say dogs got that too. Super disappointed. You could hear staff laughing extremely loud and making fun of customers. There was one older waitress there. She seemed to be the ONLY one working!!! The waitress we typically request was not there that night. This time the waitresses and the kitchen was a terrible problem. Parking lot was almost empty on a Friday night!!!! Waitress nor manager offered any apologies or anything. Just shrugged their shoulders and said “Oh Well”. Absolutely ridiculous!

It wasn’t very busy so we were seated right away. It was a table with 5 chairs and plenty of space for all including food and drinks. Our server was very nice and pretty much stayed on top of things. One thing that made me very happy and may sound weird but, the ice water was really good and had a fresh taste. Every OG we have been to in Florida, the water tastes horrible yet, at other restaurants the water is good so we thought it was all OG locations. The drinks were good, the soup, salad and breadsticks were good, as always. The calamari and shrimp apps were delicious and my 4 yr old granddaughter loved her pizza. It is a very clean location with friendly staff.

I placed an order for pick up on June 1. They gave me salad with brown liquid in it . Clearly it’s old and been sitting that’s nasty!! (No I did not use my Google name)

Participated in the Never Ending Pasta, and I left stuffed. I set a goal of three bowls, but my second plate bested me. The five-cheese marinara is divine; it’s even more incredible as a dipping sauce for breadsticks. The minestrone soup looked amazing, but I wish it would have tasted as good as it looked. If you love pasta (and want a challenge of how many plates you can eat), I definitely recommend the Never Ending Pasta.

It was a Saturday evening at dinner time, so the restaurant was busy. With that in mind: We received great service from start to finish. The food was consistent with the quality, flavor, and value we expect from Olive Garden. There was a small delay in getting drink refills and to-go plates.
