Mason Augusta

Moving in wasn’t difficult, and the apartment was basic—which I expected. However, my experience over the past year has been overwhelmingly negative. Upon move-in, the apartment had not been adequately cleaned. The room with the water heater was full of leftover items from the previous tenant. The washing machine smells terrible, and every time I’ve brought it up to the staff, they tell me to run it with bleach—no actual maintenance or replacement offered. There appears to be mold behind the plastic shower and tub enclosure. The garbage disposal barely functions; I eventually took it apart myself and discovered the plumbing was completely clogged. The grounds are poorly maintained. Dog waste is everywhere—tenants don’t clean up after their pets, and management does nothing about it. The pool is often overcrowded, and guests frequently use glass bottles, which poses a danger. It also feels more like a public party than a community space—people have historically brought in large groups, blasted music, and taken over the area. There's no control over the number of guests allowed. The gym is a hazard. The stationary bike has never worked (requires a service subscription to function), the Smith machine has a misaligned bar, increasing its danger for use, and the benches are missing bolts with padding that slips off. I reported these issues, and nothing was fixed. People come straight from the pool, soaking wet, and start using the equipment, further damaging it and creating safety risks. The gated community isn't gated—the front gate has been broken for months. Cars speed through the complex with no regard for safety. Just last night, I was nearly hit by someone drifting around a corner and squealing tires. Loud engines, revving, and exhaust noise are constant. As for management, don’t expect much. Living at Mason Augusta Apartments has been a great experience so far. The community is beautiful, clean, and feels really well taken care of. My apartment is modern and spacious, with high-end finishes, lots of natural light, and a great layout. The amenities are a huge plus—two pools, a fully equipped gym with a yoga/spin room, and even a pet spa. It really feels like luxury living. The location is super convenient, and I always feel safe here. The staff has been friendly and helpful whenever I’ve needed anything, and maintenance requests have been handled quickly. I genuinely enjoy living here and would definitely recommend Mason Augusta to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable place to call home.

Love living at The Mason! The amenities are awesome—great pool, gym, and super cozy common spaces. The leasing office team is the best—always friendly and super helpful. They really make it feel like home. Highly recommend!

My cousin just moved in and she loves it. I had to visit to see what everything was all about. Her kitchen is amazing, large closets…a ladies best friend of course 😉 plus, there are 2 pools! Now that is going to be fun this Summer when I visit. Very excited for her! Great decision!

I recently moved into Mason and I love it! The staff was so kind and welcoming. I love how much outdoor space there is for my sweet dog to play and get her energy out. The move in process was so easy! I am thankful I chose to live at Mason! I can't wait to use the pool, it's so pretty!
