Food was tolerable. The red sauce on the burrito was orange and had a weird taste. I asked for a double serving of rice instead of getting beans and rice. After I was told I could get that, I didn't get it. I still got the beans. The waitress was very nice, but she only came to check with me once after getting my food. I waited for nearly 30 minutes after I finished eating for my ticket. I was finally able to check out because another person got her attention so he could check out. Maybe it was a one off night compared to the overall rating for this place. Personally, I won't go back again.

I was with my work crew and had my own lunch but the waitress was fantastic! - friendly and offered to heat my lunch and kept my water filled. The atmosphere was good too. A small restaurant but quite a bit of people eating. Mexican music was a little bit loud but not too bad.

Los Jarochos was there a choice for Mexican meal in Aiken. Though there are numerous places, one of the things I've noted in my travels that often the non-descript or non-decorative locations are often where local people eat and have the best food. Such was the case with Los Jarochos. There was a family meeting in there and another couple of workers when my wife and I entered. The atmosphere is simple and not pretentious but the food was very good. My wife had three enchiladas which contained the mix of one cheese, beef, and chicken. I had the pork enchiladas. Very tasty very flavorful. Often a lot of places will say they're Mexican restaurants and serve you nothing more than can sauces and meat that has been cooked but with very little seasoning. This is obviously not the case here. As the flavors were obvious from the salsa with the chips to the rancho sauce on top of my enchiladas. Another very good meal in Aiken and well worth skipping the bright and fancy restaurant trimmings.

I use to go here all the time almost every other weekend and I always order the same thing. Since I've been there has been new staff and probably new management. There prices don't reflect on the register from what's on the menu. I've noticed a $3.50 increase on my order and it's always been $17.87. now it's $20? Why? So if you know you know. Don't let them fool you, bc I've brought this up multiple times at checkout and I guess because of tariff prices, now they have gone up? Who knows. No one at the restaurant can explain it🤔🤨. They just play dumb and say" oh next time I will make sure we fix it in the register." Sorry about that, but I've still been paying more. I would at least like to know why I'm paying more. Just saying put a sign up or something if there is a change in prices. Or change your jacked up menus that you just got. Just saying..keeping it 100. I love Mexican food, but I'm not coming back here. They just lost a true customer. Oh yeah and their house salsa is puree trash. No flavor.

2 1/2 ⭐️ would be most appropriate. We got food to go and were pretty disappointed. I didn’t care for the salsa, it lacked flavor. We got ceviche and I’ve never seen cucumbers in ceviche let alone huge chunks. The fish I expected to be a firm white firm but as you can tell by the picture it isn’t. Not sure what kind it was but if I had to guess it was tilapia. The fajitas had a lot of bell peppers and some kind of unappetizing “ cheesy” coating on the entire dish. The beans & rice were my least favorite of anywhere I’ve eaten. And when we asked if the tortillas were made in house we were told only one day a week did someone do that. Many of the menu items were only available on that same day so I assume there’s only one person who can cook authentic Mexican there & that one person is only available once a week. The location leaves MUCH to be desired as Balltown is one of the most sketchy areas of Aiken. Oh and my bottled drink was expired!
