J. Michael Spence, Attorney at Law

We just got done using Mike Spence for adoption. The process was simple and quick. I went to two lawyers previously for consultations and both wanted all the money up front, which seems reasonable but I was always honest with everyone whether we could work out payment plans etc. Mike Spence was the first office to treat me like a human and understood he would get paid, we just needed some time. He got the job done and was so nice throughout the whole process. His staff, especially Brooke, are all amazing as well. I will use him for future things as well. He is a family man and it shows. It’s also a plus that he is a UGA fan. Thank you, Spence and staff for the support and for helping us through this.

When you first come in for a consultation, you maybe thinking this guy is a little rough and blunt. After realizing he is this way because of many years of experience you will understand that hes straight forward and will get you through whatever you are dealing with. If you do not know your rights he will inform you on them. Mike has a great staff who are extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Went for a consultation, he didnt tell me what I wanted to hear, but he gave me his good, sound and professional opinion, which is priceless! I would recommend him for his honesty, lack of greed (theres lots of that in the Augusta legal community) and straightforward advice.
