Happy China II

First the positive. VERY clean. Generous portions. Reasonably priced. Plenty of parking. Quick service. Very Good shrimp egg roll. Negatives. Dry chicken in my Sweet and Sour Chicken. My wife's Moo goo Gail pan was bland and so was her fried rice. We don't think we will return despite living Downtown Augusta while our house is being built.

I like this spot. Go there for lunch from time to time for take out. The service is welcoming and friendly. The food hits the spot. Usually get the sesame chicken lunch special. Good is tasty and prepared fairly fast allowing me to get back to my job. Restaurant is clean. Satisfying all around when I need a good lunch meal in a pinch. Again I enjoy the folks behind the counter. Friendly and light hearted.

Ordered a10 piece chicken, got 1 flat and 9 drums. All were tough and dry. Was told that that this is how most people like them and was encouraged to ask for them to be cooked softer next time. Yeah, ok. Maybe I shoulda went to the fish place across the street for my chicken.

We decided to check the new location out after they moved. We just ordered hot and sour soup to go, and according to my wife it was pretty tasty. The interior is very clean, but it took a minute for the waitress to take our orders. Would be interested in coming back to try more of their menu since it seems like they have a good variety of dishes.

Worst Chinese food ever. The ribs are basically small, strip-like pieces swamped in too much BBQ sauce. The rice is flavorless.
