The prices in this place are ridiculous. Occasionally you can go in and find a good deal on stuff but the vast majority of items are near the actual retail prices of new items. Saw a piece of furniture today for 2k! I don’t think anything in Goodwill should be anywhere near that price. I go in looking for a deal and usually leave disappointed. I’ll donate at the ASPCA thrift store down the road before I ever donate here. The only reason this place continues to get business is because there are no other large thrift stores in Aiken.

This Goodwill has clearly lost the plot. This is by far the worst goodwill I’ve ever been to and I highly recommend steering clear. I’ve tried to tell myself it’ll be better next time, but the prices are criminally out of line for DONATED items and frankly, I’ve never seen prices this high at any secondhand store before. Almost everything is priced at or higher than retail and the few items that look nice are more than what they’d be anywhere else (and this is a goodwill!) Genuinely, head over to any local antique store to find better stuff that isn’t broken for the same price or less! It’s insane that a thrift store can have such audacity!

I keep telling myself that this place is going to get better based on how many people I see walk out of the store with nothing in their hands. However, I then remember that everything they have was given to them for FREE. Once you look at their prices, you'll think they paid top dollar for everything in there. Goodwill started out as a great service to the community. They have lost that distinction, in my opinion. Just browse the photos I snapped today, and you'll understand.

I find some thing awesome nearly every time I go! Great employees and they are dog friendly if you have small, well behaved dogs. If I need something, I always check here first. Here are a few of the great fines I’ve stumbled upon while browsing.

Prices are absolutely ridiculous! They say it’s because of resellers which is a ridiculous assertion. It’s GREED! Resellers have to drive, shop, pay, wash, store, photograph, AND SHIP. Greedwill gets their inventory FREE to the point they throw away quite a bit of their donations. Support your locks charities (GW isn’t a charity). Charging $3.99 for used underwear, $3.50 for old tshirts (most are Walmart, Shein, etc and cost less to buy NEW! Quality of product has went WAY DOWN and prices way up! Tshirts should be $1.50 AT MOST , jeans and pants $3 , lounge pants and joggers $3, shirts and blouses $4, MAX!!! Every time I go I dime ripped and stained clothing they want a s fortune for. Many items they ARE ASKING NEW RETAIL PRICES FOR! DVDs have LOST THEIR VALUE! Pawn shops and normal thrift stores sell them for 50 cents to a dollar. Greedwill charges $3.00 PER DISK. So, a movie that comes with a bonus features disk they ignorantly want to charge 6 dollars. I have a large social media following and am discouraging everyone I know from donating and shopping at GW until they stop their BS! $12.99 for worn out sneakers or Walmart booties that are used shoes that either the pricing people have no idea what the hell they are doing OR they are being directed by their local organization. Just remember, each state has multiple GW “organizations” and each PAYS A CEO AND OTHER ADMINISTRATORS SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSANDS EACH! What a SCAM!!!!
