Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Golden Corral has always been a special place for me, ever since my Grandpa took me there every Saturday growing up in New Mexico.(back in the early 90s) Now living in Alabama, I was heartbroken when my local Golden Corral closed yeaaars ago. So, on a recent road trip to Columbia, I was beyond excited to stop at the Augusta, Georgia, location—and let me tell you, it exceeded all my expectations! This location has the biggest food selection I’ve ever seen at a Golden Corral. The yeast rolls, my absolute favorite, were perfection, but they didn’t stop there. They had regular biscuits, butter biscuits, and even cheddar bay biscuits like the ones from Red Lobster. It was biscuit and roll heaven! Since it was Christmas season, they also had their holiday menu out, and everything was incredible. The stuffing, yams, turkey, and ham were all cooked to perfection. Honestly, everything I tried was amazing. The only downside was how crowded it was. The tables are very close together, so it’s a little hard to sit comfortably when you’re back-to-back with other guests. But with food this good, it was totally worth it. If you’re ever near Augusta, you have to stop by this Golden Corral!

7/2/15 Well I like the new look of Golden Corral. The food today was very good. The salad was fresh and the restaurant was pretty clean.

Very good buffet. Fresh food was constantly being replenished. Unfortunately, the salad buffet was almost empty and very dirty. The staff at the entrance at the checkout was unfriendly, and the cashier at the left checkout was picking her teeth while paying. That woman was disgusting🤮 She was also very unfriendly and condescending. The restroom was very dirty.

Our family has not been to a Golden Corral location in years. This location food selection and taste was on point. I mean everything was tasty, well seasoned and well done. I had no complaints about the overall experience. Eventhough there was a sign on the door that stated. Ac was broken. They had fans and we really didn't feel much of a difference. I finally now realize why ths location always has a line. They out here serving tasty food.

This place is AWESOME! My husband has not been out to eat with me in years. I finally talked him into eating out here with me. He told me he wants to go eat here once a month now! He enjoyed so many different foods here and it all tasted homemade. The banana pudding it the very best. I make my banana pudding homemade so I don't like any other kind but Golden Corrals is delicious!!!!
