Dr. Charity was my OB during my pregnancy and my experience couldn’t have been better. As a first time mom I was extra precautious and nervous to become a mom, but Dr. Charity and his staff took great care to ensure I was well taken care of during my pregnancy. They were thorough in exams, tests, and always kind!! I’m grateful to Dr. Charity and his staff for their manner and care I received.

Dr Charity was so kind and accommodating, however the front office staff was rude and unprofessional. There was a lady sitting behind the front desk (not on the phone and not talking to anyone) and she didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Since it was my first visit, I expected new patient paperwork right when signing in. Instead, I had to sit back down because she literally did not acknowledge my presence. She didn’t explain anything and seemed frustrated if I asked a question. We are considering going elsewhere simply because of our initial front desk experience.

I didn't have a good experience with this doctors office. Dr. Charity spends no time with his patients nor does he keep them informed about what is going on. I came to appointments, I would pee in a cup, he would listen to my baby's heartbeat and that would be it. I had concerns that he just blew off with no explanations. The final straw was when I was 39 weeks I came to my scheduled appointment and to my surprise literally no one was in the office except one of his assistants and myself. She hooked me up to a machine to listen to my baby as if something was wrong (which it wasn't) she sent results to Dr. Charity and he advised me to go to the hospital to be monitored where the hospital told me everything was perfectly fine and couldn't figure out why I was sent there to basically waste my time. A doctor at the hospital also said that a lot of patients complain about how he doesn't keep his patients informed about things. When I left that doctors appointment no follow up appointments were made fory regularly weekly appointments before baby was born or for postpartum care. All to find out that he left out of the country to Nigeria and never said a word to inform me about it. About a week later I went into labor and made my way to the hospital Dr. Charity was apparently still in Nigeria. My baby is almost 2 weeks old now and no one has reached out from his office. I am very disappointed with his services. In my previous encounters with obgyn doctors they always form some sort of friendly relationship with their patients. Everything with him was in and out and very impersonal. I DO NOT recommend. I plan to have one more child and I absolutely will not be going back to this office.

While Dr. Charity is a good doctor his staff is rude, unprofessional and uncaring. We do like our doctor but if we ever have another child it will not be seen through them. I hate to lose a good doctor but it’s through his negligence that he allows his staff to act and treat patients the way they do. I also do not like getting put on the back burner which is how we have been treated since day one.

Dr. Charity is a kind, patient, educated doctor who will take time whenever he can to answer questions and explain. However his nurses and other office staff completely let him down and ruin the experience of having him as an OB. They do not listen, they do not care. They do not follow up and the online patient portal is a joke. There is very little communication of what to expect at the next appointment or what results were gathered at the last one. The last straw for me was being misheard by his staff when I asked for a routine Tdap vaccination at 27wks. They thought I asked for a TB skin test and that's what they administered. A TB skin test is injected into the forearm and read 2 days later for reaction. A Tdap vaccine is one and done shot into the arm. When the nurse told me to come back in 2 days alarm bells immediately started ringing in my head. I commented, "Wow, I didn't know Tdap was done like that." And the nurse instead of asking a follow up question or owning up to the mistake, said nothing at all. She did not consult with another nurse, the front desk, or Dr. Charity to make sure all was well. She said nothing at all and I was sent on my merry way. I had to call back myself later that day after Googling to confirm the mistake. I was injected with a tuberculosis sample without my consent and no one took accountability or apologized. They still demanded I come back in two days to be seen for the test I never asked for and didn't need. At that appointment two days later, no one mentioned the mixup. My skin test was read, a nurse gave me the proper vaccine, and dropped the needle while it was in my arm. She assured me it all went in but how do I know? How do I trust that the tip of the needle isn't broken off in my arm right now? It hurts. No one spoke to me about their mistake. No one apologized. As I discussed what happened with the nurse while she was injecting me she had nothing to say. She just said, "Wow." I told her the online portal is brok...
