It is an absolute mystery to me how this attorney hasn’t been disbarred. 10 years after my grandfather’s death, we are STILL dealing with the ramifications of the Fountain Law Firm (Wesley in particular) not doing their job correctly. They never completed probate on my grandfather’s estate. They refuse to return our calls. DO NOT give these people your hard-earned money unless the job is 100% complete (and even then I would hire another attorney to check behind him, as we have had to do to finish the job). It seems that once the bill is paid, his work is DONE (my grandfather paid the bill in full before he passed away, so I guess Mr. Fountain considered the job complete before he even started it). Everyone I speak to at the Aiken County courthouse and at the RMC office scoffs when I mention his name. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT hire this conman. I only wish there was a ZERO ⭐️ option here.

Worst closing company EVER. I was a loan underwriter for years, have closed hundreds of loans and grants. Have bought and sold several homes of our own and I have never experienced such an awful closing as the one with this agency. We closed on our home we sold, handed over our keys and garage door openers, and now days later the company still hasn't even received the buyers fund and I still have not received my loan proceeds! How can they possibly think it's okay to close on a home without the verified funds in hand first, like every other closing agency in the country?! Now the buyers have my house and I still don't have my proceeds. Do not use this company. They also do not answer their phones or return calls.

Worst law firm I've ever dealt with. First, after leaving multiple voicemails over the course of a few weeks, I finally went into their office despite it being a time when people should be avoiding in person dealings, only to be told their phones weren't working and they had no way to listen to their messages. Next, they allowed the transaction to close on the sale of our home without verification of the buyer's funds (I don't see how that's even legal), and it took them multiple days to finally retrieve those funds. Last, when they finally sent us our proceeds days later, they sent it in check form to an address across the country where we have no way to retrieve it, even though we had specifically told them not to do that, and we had already arranged for them to wire the money so we could access it immediately for the purchase of another home. Now we haven't had a home to live in for days, and we still have no funds to buy one. We have sold three homes in our lifetime and every one has gotten us our funds the same day, except when dealing with Fountain Law. We've never seen such incompetence.

Our experience with Fountain Law Firm was excellent. Wesley handled the closing for our refinance, and Ms.Briggs did a great job making sure the funds we received accurately reflected a last minute insurance payment to the escrow account. Fountain Law Firm takes good care of its clients.
