FLOWERS ON BROAD

My daughter ordered a deluxe bouquet for Mother’s Day, but it was delivered very late in the day because the delivery driver forgot to load it onto the van. When it finally arrived around 5 p.m., the flowers were droopy and looked completely unarranged—almost as if they had just been dropped into the vase. To make matters worse, no one is answering the phone or responding to messages, so we haven’t been able to get any explanation or resolution. This has been very disappointing, especially given the occasion and the price she paid."

Our grandmother passed away recently and we had numerous friends and families purchase flowers for the service from the funeral homes website. The website offers “Designers Choice Bouqet” with pictures of flowers not garden plants. In the disclaimer it states “If the exact flowers or container you have selected are not available, your florist will substitute only items of equal or higher value to create a bouquet with the freshest available flowers.” Again it mentions flowers. We were told to contact the florist who stated she can only fill the order with the description that was received. So while they may not be receiving the full information, Ginger from flowers on broad was extremely difficult to work with. Showed absolutely no empathy and argued with us when we were just trying to determine who best to contact over this since multiple third parties are involved.

I ordered one arrangement of tulips for my mother’s memorial service and paid for the large upgrade and this is what I got for $133. There were 30 tulips instead of the original 20 and I guess the extra 10 were supposed to be the “upgrade”. But there were almost that many that were wilting or broken. They were just stuck in a vase with some brown vine thing. Honestly it looked like someone realized they were out of tulips and ran to the nearest grocery store and just grabbed whatever they had to shove in the vase. I actually had my kids decorate small cups and I put two tulips in each one to place around the tables and counters. That looked way better than trying to use that display as a centerpiece. I would have much rather been told that they really didn’t have the supply or quality of that particular flower instead of being given this. Tulips were my mom’s favorite flower so I chose them to honor her memory, but I felt like I let her down in a way because that arrangement was very poorly done and I was embarrassed for anyone to see it. I don’t even care about the fact that I was still charged the delivery fee even though I picked them up in the store, and had that been the only little thing I would have just let it go. But I cannot understand how they were completely okay with giving this to a customer for $133. This is what you find marked down in the clearance section after a few days. Don’t get me wrong, there were some orange and yellow ones that looked lovely, which is why I was able to reuse them in other containers; but not over $100 worth in my opinion. My husband picked the arrangement up for me, otherwise I would have addressed my concerns right then. It was just such a huge disappointment and her memorial is over now so there’s nothing to be done to correct it.

We used flowers on broad for our wedding florals. They did SO good. I had a specific vision in mind and they did awesome! They set up everything day of so smoothly. Absolutely recommend for all your floral needs!

Wow! What a gorgeous arrangement! This is my 3rd year ordering from Flowers on Broad for my Mom’s Birthday and each year they seem to just keep out doing themselves! My mom looks forward to it every year! Highly recommend!
