First Baptist Church of Augusta

Looking for a church as I just moved to the area. Sadly this won’t be it. No greetings and received odd feeling when I made eye contact with several other visitors. No one seemed willing to say hello or talk to anyone outside of their circle of usuals. Extremely disappointed. The message was very good and I may follow online until I find another church. I need to find a good place to volunteer and feel welcomed. Perhaps one more visit is possible IDK Also house and days of operation are incorrect on google

Have been attending FBC for many years and LOVE it. My husband and I got married here. We have 3 boys and they have attended since they were born. We also LOVE the weekday program where all 3 boys attended. We enjoy attending the contemporary service, but both are great. If you haven't been in awhile, come join us!

Will never make this a place of WORSHIP for me and my children. Most COLD people of the Lord I've ever talked to. My family are in need of help and prayer but they won't even be compassionate much less try to help. People of God are supposed to help each other not tell you there is no help available to anyone. We have been stranded with no vehicle or way to work to make our situation any better and they could not care less.

My mother recently moved to Augusta. She has found a wonderful group of people there in her Sunday school class. They seem to really care for each other. They helped us celebrate her 80th birthday which was great since I live out of state. Thank you First Baptist for embracing my mother.

We have been lifetime member of FBC Augusta. The church is not the location or buildings, but it is the people who make up it's fellowship. Throughout my life they have been my circle of friends and my support group. Bible study and Worship have contributed to my spiritual growth and development. Looking for a church home?
