Went out with Captain John and what a day we had. Fishing was on fire. They ate everything we threw at them. Lost count of the Reds, caught black drum, weakie, sea Trout and sheepshead. He gave me a ton of information on St Mary’s as well as the surrounding area. I highly recommend you fish with Captain John, he will work hard for you.

Elliotts Bluff Charter Company provided an exceptional inshore fishing experience. From the knowledgeable Capt. John Ganas to the well-maintained equipment, every aspect of the trip was top-notch. Capt. Ganas skillfully navigated us to prime fishing spots, where we caught a variety of target species. His boat is comfortable, and Capt. Ganas is friendly and helpful throughout the trip. I cannot recommend Capt. Ganas enough, this is the charter to book if your looking for a memorable fishing experience.

I have gone fishing with Capt. John Ganas several times over the past few years. We have had perfect conditions as well as poor conditions, but, Capt. John always finds a way to put us on the bite. He has a wealth of knowledge of the waters around St. Marys/Fernandina that is unmatched. I cannot recommend Elliot's Bluff Charter Co. and Capt. John Ganas enough. If you are looking for a great day on the water, Capt. John is the person to use. Great fellowship and many fish caught! He is the best in the business!

Excellent charter today. We asked for a 2 hour charter for 4 and ended up extending another hour. Captain John was so knowledgeable about the routes, landmarks, and wild life. Did I mention that it’s cheaper to charter to Cumberland Island than it is to take the ferry? So fantastic, I didn’t want to leave the boat! Next time we will book a charter to fish! Thank you Captain John!

My friends and I chartered an ecological tour around Cumberland Island and St. Mary’s. Captain John was well versed in these beautiful waters and showed us the wild horses, dolphins, pink spoonbills and other local flora and fauna. He is knowledgeable and kind and keeps an exceptionally clean boat. We look forward to booking our next ecological tour and or fishing tour with my children.
