Dollar General

I get the feeling this store doesn't give a hoot about reviews, but here it is anyway: I was the only customer in the store. No employees to be found. Buggies and boxes and stock all over the place; a mess. The FritoLay man was restocking his delivery and clearly having a hard time with that because of all of the other junk in the way. I went to the checkout to find one of two self checkouts closed, the other "open" but the scanner had junk piled on it and the screen needed an employee login. So I went to the cashier checkout and waited for the lone employee to come out of the back office, on her phone (clearly a personal call) ring my stuff up and go back to the office. I did get a thank you but no eye contact, no receipt, just a don't care vibe from the place and employee. Sad but also, it's the DG. 😂

Store was extremely dirty. Merchandise on the floor. Piles of merchandise on stocking carts. Who’s working the merchandise?? The associate was working with sun glasses and a hoodie on which I deemed very unprofessional. I won’t be ever shopping at this location again.

The store seems a bit smaller than newer locations, but this store isn't as cluttered as much with items for restocking shelves on rolling carts and in shipping boxes. Shelves are usually well organized. Usually able to find what you need.

I'm quite familiar with these stores so I knew what I wanted and basically where to locate it in the store. The restroom here is normally freshly deodorized and clean. Also no pushy sales associates while you shop is a nice touch, but one is always nearby if you do need assistance.

Lovely experience. The young ladies working were very helpful and went above and beyond to give any advice that would be helpful. She seen that I was looking at lotions and told me which fragrance she uses.
