Dillard's

I want to take a moment to spotlight Monica from the bedding department at Dillard's in the Augusta Mall. While I was meandering through the aisles, she approached me with an infectious enthusiasm and offered to showcase some comforters. Though I had just purchased one and politely declined, I asked her to help me find some pillows instead. To my surprise, I walked away with two delightful options that transformed my night's sleep into pure bliss! What began as a simple mission to find a gift for a friend turned into an unforgettable experience, all thanks to Monica's vibrant energy and genuine engagement. Unlike the other employees who seemed to drift by, engrossed in their conversations with fellow associates and unaware of their customers, Monica brought a refreshing spark to my shopping trip. She made me feel valued and uplifted—a true gem in the bustling store. Her dedication to her craft and the warmth she extends to her customers deserve to be celebrated. Thank you, Monica, for making my day so special!

Very clean store and nicely merchandised. The shoe department is pretty fantastic if I do say so myself! I also love that they have all of their fragrances out to be tested. Many department stores are tucking them away which makes it difficult to explore new scents. I do wish they had more sales like other stores, but the shopping is pleasant and they are adequately staffed.

Miss Melissa in menswear was extremely helpful, attentive, personable. Showed us a couple options, was happy to measure twice when asked, gave us good and clear expectations for the tailoring services Miss Christine from James Avery was friendly and helpful. She polished our new rings, and even put a shine on my older band! Had a lot of fun.

This Dillard's is larger than the ones that I've been shopping at through the years. They have maintained quality clothing at acceptable prices. The store is neatly kept. The restrooms are in need of remodeling.

I was shopping for a purse for my daughter’s birthday and a white lady kept following us. I don’t usually shop there but the one she wanted was in stock. She picked up several bags and as she picked up a particular bag the lady yelled from across the store and said, “is that not locked?!” I looked at her and she was coming over and I told her, “ma’am stop following us, we don’t need to steal.” I left the store but returned and asked what was her name, “KATHY DUKE”, she yelled with an attitude. She really racial profiled us over a Kurt Geiger bag.
