Denegar kennels & Pet Pickup Service

I can not say enough wonderful things about Denegar Kennels. We needed last long term boarding for our pup and they were the kennel for the job! They answered all our questions before dropping off, the check in process was so smooth, paying for stay was convenient, and the staff was so nice, accommodating, and helpful keeping us updated about our boy. If we ever need boarding again, long term or just a weekend, Denegar kennels will be exactly where we stay!

I just picked up my 2 dogs from a week stay at this kennel. I was VERY upset by the condition of one. The owner did let me know that my Great Dane pooped in his kennel. Well it was apparent she didn’t clean up after him after he did this. He was caked in dog poop. It had obviously been on him for a while too because he has sores all over his feet and legs where it was caked on. His front leg is so swollen I’m going to have to take him to the vet. He also smelled SO bad that I could barely stand the drive home. The extent of all this wasn’t noticed fully until we got him home and started bathing the dog. I immediately called the owner to complain and expressed my dissatisfaction in care. She said she took care of the dogs, didn’t know what happened to the Great Danes leg, and didn’t have a chance to clean him off before we picked him up. I do not accept this response. That poor dog probably spent all week filthy and covered in poop. I let her know I’d be leaving a 0 star review (too bad google makes you leave at least one) so this should not be a surprise to the owner. I normally take these dogs to a different kennel and they never come back with this issue. Needless to say they will never be going back to this location.

I recently rescued a 5 month old puppy. I had her spayed right before we left on a long trip. Paula took care of our puppy right from the surgery and 19 more days. She answered all my texts and kept me up to date on her health. I was very pleased with the kennel and will use it again if needed.

I had a trip to The Masters and needed a quick fix to our dog. Found this kennel on Google and was a little skeptical at first after reading the one comment, but after meeting the couple and another client while I was there, We decided to leave her. I was very pleased with the accommodations. Our Bella was taken very good care of for 4 days. I like also that this location is closer and more accessible to get too. Prices were normal with any kennels we've used before too. 👍👍 Very nice couple... very friendly and professional when it came to our Bella!

After reading the reviews for this kennel, I was in high hopes and assurance that this place would be great to board my dogs while I was out of town. The reason why I am writing a review is because I don't want others to be fooled like I was. My experience with this kennel was traumatic for both me and my pups. Walking into a sour-dog smelling, confined space was the start of it. While touring, there was urine on the ground and no bowls for the dog food to be placed in, instead the dog food was scattered on the ground in the separate dog kennels. The frustrating thing about the food was that I gave specific direction on how to feed my pups (which she asked for), yet it is very obvious that the directions were not followed due to the weight gain in one and weight loss in the other, which drives me to believe the food was also scattered for them to share, when the owner specifically confirmed that she would follow what my pups are used to, as well as use actual bowls. While touring, the outside space was very tight and small for two dogs such as my own. The most disturbing part of this experience is when after just a few days, my dogs smelled completely like urine and their beds did not. Which leads me to also believe that the beds were removed while we were gone, having them sleep on the hard ground. It is very disappointing to write a review like this, but after experiencing this and feeling horrible for my beloved pups, I would not want anyone else to be fooled into this and feeling the guilt that I am feeling for trusting this kennel to take care of my dogs. The owner was very friendly, which deceived me from the truth of how this kennel is running. It was apparent that the hygiene and specific care for the dogs was not a priority. On exit, our things were in all different areas and we were not able to go back and see the actual kennel that our pups stayed in. While others had a very different experience, I hope you take this into consideration before trusting ...
