Dave & Buster's Augusta

Whenever I go to Dave & Busters the people working there always have an outstanding way of greeting and serving me, the games in the arcade are always clean and the overall place is pretty clean. Every time I visit here I always get their pasta and they never fail to deliver.

Yesterday I turned 36 and decided I wanted to have a little fun for my birthday. I was an arcade loving kid and now have three of my own, but usually I'm too busy making sure the kids are having fun to play and enjoy myself. We're still fairly new to the area so this was our first visit at the Augusta location, and second visit at any D&B. We weren't really sure where to start, so when we went in Gary explained everything to us and helped us get set up. He was extremely kind, and went on to explain the different versions of games/how tickets worked/etc. We went at opening time on a Monday, so we ended up having the whole place to ourselves for the entirety of our time there. As Gary walked the floor testing the machines, he checked in with us multiple times and eventually asked if we would like to try the VR sets, free of charge. This was my first virtual reality experience and both games we played were extremely fun! Needless to say, Gary made my birthday feel extra special. We ended up sitting down to eat and the waitress was also incredibly kind and helpful. I ordered the Cali Salad bowl with grilled chicken and it was seriously so good! The employees here were wonderful, the establishment was very clean, and I honestly can't wait to go back and try more games and food with the family!

I do not recommend going to Dave and Busters. This was out first time going and the last. We were charged a $16 tip for putting chips on 2 cards. She said it was basically protocol and that it would go back on the gift card and then she offered to throw the gift card away for us. 🤪 We never could find a manager but we paid $100 for something that should of been only $84, and no we didn't get our money back. The same girl was at the register when we went to redeem our game cards and she double scanned some items so we came up short. We had 2 children and were adding as they were picking out their items. We should of had plenty more for candy at the end. I looked at the screen and told her we only had one of something and she said no. She did eventually look into the bag and fix it. Absolutely terrible customer service. We did not eat there, we were more than ready to go after we played. I have my receipt and it says "$16 tip", I guess the girl felt like she needed a tip that day.

This place was amazing! I didnt eat this time, but it smelled amazing in the dining area. The games were really fun and the staff were great. Especially the guy with dreads who operated the human claw machine. He was awesome!

Spent $44 at Dave’s. Ordered a Burger and fries with their Elote cauliflower. The cauliflower was burned and cooked in OLD STINK GREASE that had to be atleast a few days to a week old by the putrid smell alone. There was absolutely no elote toppings on it whatsoever. Just straight old stink grease and burned black crumbs . The fries that came with my burger were also cooked in old stink grease. The burger I had was decent tbh. No complaints besides the dry bun. So pissed about my food because I can’t even get my money back. Such a shame, never ordering from this place again. Y’all better hope I don’t get sick.
