I've been a member of Crunch Fitness for over a few weeks now, and I can confidently say it's the best gym I've ever joined. The atmosphere is fantastic – energetic and motivating, without being intimidating. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the trainers are top-notch. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with a wide variety of equipment to suit all fitness levels. I especially love the group fitness classes; they're a fun and effective way to mix up my workouts. What really sets Crunch apart is the value for money. The membership fees are very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the facilities and services on offer. If you're looking for a gym that's fun, affordable, and effective, look no further than Crunch Fitness!

I have been going here since they opened, and I am so happy!!! Let me start off with the employees! They’re all so kind, patient, informative and most of all, non judgmental. The gym has so much to offer from a variety of intriguing classes to equipment that I haven’t seen in my previous gym. There is something for everyone! The prices are affordable and also offer different perks. The staff and the gym is welcoming and I feel happy to be there. I look forward to coming in each time. I started personal training there with Jason earlier this month and at the end of week 1 going into week 2, I already saw a difference in my energy. Here we are at end of week 3 and I am down in weight, happier, and making better food choices with the help of my trainer. He has truly helped me to reach my goals and aim for a healthier lifestyle. I am so thankful for this amazing team here in Augusta, I would recommend this place to anyone as they’re friendly to people of all ages and goals. Not only did I notice the talent and dedication in my own personal trainer, but each of the other trainers as well. They all push their clients accordingly and encourage them along the way. They are all there for good reasons and doing great things. Way to go Crunch Augusta! 💪

There are power outages every night, causing the building to be closed even when it’s listed as open. Management seems to have a hard time communicating this issue to the daytime staff. Whenever I call Crunch to check if I’m about to waste another morning, the person I speak with has no idea about the nightly closures. Every time I ask for an update, the employee is completely unaware of the situation. I’ve even been told that it wasn’t possible the building was closed at the time I went. This is starting to get ridiculous. Some people, like me, can only go early in the morning before work, and this ongoing issue is making me seriously reconsider whether I should’ve spent my money on a gym that’s actually open 24/5 as advertised.

The staff is friendly and the equipment is nice but I am looking at other options because I joined for Group Fitness classes and there are not that many and the rooms are small so only 15- 20 people can go. I work 8-5 so I cant hover my phone waiting for the 22 hour mark to sign up for the next day class. I would rather pay $150 a month a go back to Burn Boot Camp or something. The locker rooms are also musky and hot. I do love their tanning area and large tanning rooms. I might keep my membership just to tan and use the massage beds. That is significantly cheaper than my old tanning memberships!

I was excited to join! The hype was real and Crunch did an excellent job promoting the new club. The club is not as big as I expected it to be and is sort of cluttered and crowded at times. There is a lack of equipment so you have to wait for someone to finish on the machine that you want to work out on. There is more cardio equipment in comparison to the weight training machines. The locker rooms are small with a small sauna that fits maybe six people. I have a small child so I utilize the kid zone. My child likes it because of the other children playing there however it was hot and muggy in the kids zone this week and had a slight unpleasant smell in there when I signed my child in. The staff were pleasant and welcoming as always when we visit. I have never seen a cycling or any kind of group fitness class going on when I have been there. Besides the new equipment and fresh look of the gym, it’s not at all what I expected. You can still go and zone out and get a good workout in but be prepared to wait on equipment and bump shoulders with people due to the close proximity of everything.
