Stayed here before when it was the Clarion. You can tell Comfort just switched names. Didn't update the building or the rooms really. The tub was old which is fine except it still had the "Old shower mat" shape on the floor of the tub. Had to ask how to work the TV. There were two remotes, but only one worked to turn it on and the other was only to change the channel and reset the cable, which we had to do multiple times. Cable kept cutting off so we spent most of the time on our phones. The room was a decent size. Had a refrigerator and coffee pot. I don't use the coffee pots in hotels cause they usually don't clean them well. They did offer breakfast, which was actually decent. They offered eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal and a few more items. Breakfast would have been the best experience at this hotel, but people don't know how to teach their kids (including teenagers) how to act in public. So there were kids grabbing food with their hands, acting like they have never been fed before, making messes while laughing, running and playing while other people were trying to eat. Parking lot is small. Not far from food places. All in all it was just ok.

I've spent several nights over the last few weeks in this hotel for work. Every time has been a great experience. My rooms have been very clean and the staff are very nice as well.

ADA laws are NOT recognized by the bald blk man with glasses that works the front desk. Before anyone gets offended by my description of him... he didn't have a name tag nor offered his name. I am a white woman married to a blk man, so please miss me with the racist replies. He was rude when inquiring about my service dog. He said he didn't care about ADA, wanted documents about my disability, my dog, and a 150.00 deposit. When I tried explaining the law he rudely told me to go stay somewhere else. The room was supposed to have a *kitchenette*. OK, we'll if a small sink and microwave is a kitchenette then whatever. Our 1st room the ac was frozen. The 2nd room the toilet was clogged. Did maintenence come fix the toilet? No, they gave my husband a plunger to do it himself. The next morning housekeeping didn't make the beds only got trash. My husband inquired about it. They said yes, they're supposed to but never did it. The bfast lady is clearly overwhelmed. When asked about more waffle mix for my kids she said very snappy that she has to make more. This management staff needs to do some training or firing/hiring. It was an awful weekend for us.

This was the only place here in Augusta I trusted my kids and grandkids to stay that was like 5 minutes from my house. When I checked in Mr. Rashad at the front desk was very helpful and took care of all our needs. I checked the room when checking in and the room was ok. There were a few things that needed addressed, which I took pictures and showed Mr. Rashad so he would know we did not do those things. It was good. Nice stay and would book again if needed. Thank you again to Mr. Rashad for all the help with the extra towels and extra bedding stuff that wasn't in the room for the pull out couch.
