Comfort House

Home away from home ❤️ the board members make you feel like part of their family. I needed to have some packages delivered and Walmart couldn’t get the zip code to work correctly in their system so one of them let me have everything sent to her house before we even arrived. They had several appliances not working correctly and someone was down there everyday with a repairman getting them repaired. They really care and take pride in the Comfort House and it shows in its charm.

So thankful for the Comfort House. We have a shared kitchen, living room, and laundry room. Each room has a private bathroom. We have a television in each bedroom and Wifi. This has truly been a blessing. It has helped us save money so much money. Most importantly Comfort House has allowed us to be close to our love one while she is hospitalized.

Clean, comfy and quiet spot to land while going back and forth to the VA Hospital. Nice greenbelts nearby for some good walks in this historical neighborhood. Margaret, Shannon and Ed were all very kind and helpful. Ms Margaret even made a delicious Sweet Potato Poundcake for the guests! A special thank you to Ed who went above and beyond to help search for something precious that I thought I may have left there.

Shannon is very rude!! She told me only people in the hospital and then hung up on me.

This is a wonderful place for families in need of a affordable place while they have loved ones in the hospital extremely wonderful staff extremely helpful and caring it offers discounted rates to help families when going through a unfortunate time in their life and in need a home away from home applicants only accepted through referral of a local hospital
