Charles Hammond House

What a beautiful venue and bed and breakfast this is!! This historic home has been lovingly renovated and maintained and is perfect for a party, weekend stay, or overnight stay. The staff is so helpful. Beverly, the owner's mom, went out of her way to help us before and after our event. I highly recommend this lovely place!!

The Charles Hammond House was the site of a celebration hosted for Augusta’s AARP volunteers. Most of the volunteers had never been to the Hammond House. They were thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful event in a beautiful 1770’s historic mansion gorgeously decorated with period furnishings and beautiful holiday trees and trimmings. Our hostess was gracious and helpful in getting my event set up, they had everything we needed and plenty of parking. We are already thinking about what we can plan so we can go back there again. We were “wowed”, we loved it.

Beautiful home. Visit was very relaxing. Bedrooms are spacious with your very own individual bathroom. Decor is very historic and tasteful. Great place to getaway with family and friends. Definitely recommend.

I stayed at the Hammond House for a work event and this is an exceptional place to stay. Not only is the house nicely maintained, the staff at the house is what truly makes this the best place to stay.

The work progress is coming along great!! It would be much better if the weather would cooperate a little bit more. But, hey, that's construction I guess!! Lol I absolutely LOVE this house!!! I can not wait to see it finished. James is doing a wonderful job!! And when the house is finished, it will be well worth the wait!!!! I highly recommend ANYONE and EVERYONE needs to visit this House when it is finished!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
