This place is so beautiful and the people are so kind, caring and supportive. It's clean and wonderfully stocked (both kitchen and bathrooms). It has a nice living room to share with other guests and a cozy little library. It's a pleasant, safe home away from home. ❤️👍

The people here are marvelous. Kind, compassionate, genuine. Wonderful rooms. Fantastic common area. Great library including puzzles and games. Screened in back porch is inviting and comfortable. You will feel truly cared for here.

Lydia Project is nothing short of amazing. My mother and I stayed here while she was going through Chemo and our drive to treatment was over 2 hours. With a Doctors order my Mom and myself were able to stay there free for one night (with a negative Covid test within 72 hours). You MUST wear a mask when you're not in your room! (People's immune systems are compromised, 100% understandable) The rooms are simple, no TV (makes sense, people are going through treatments), 2 beds, and a bathroom. The common area is lovely, there's an area to read, and the volunteers are amazing! Everyone is so kind and helpful, the check in process is easy, and after the first time it's easier after that. Keep in mind the entire place is run solely by volunteers AND donations, from the food to the lights. So if you're not planning on using the services, if you can please donate. Even if it's canned goods or bottled water, anything is appreciated. Believe me, it's going to a worthy cause. I'll never in my life be able to thank the people at Lydia Project for the services they provided for my Mom & me during her treatment. You're a Godsend, and what you do is more than appreciated. I came to stay here before my surgery. Instead of driving 3 hours away I was able to stay here with my husband. What a beautiful place with great accommodations and volunteers. I highly recommend this place.
