I have rented several pieces of equipment from this company over the years and I have always had outstanding service and they are very reasonable on their pricing. Use every time I’m in need. Use anyone else. Appreciate it guys.

I rented a mustang (bobcat type of front end loader) to do some clean up work on my property after the ice storm. I was told it was going to be $75 dollars to deliver but it ended up being $150 because "delivery" did not include picking up the mustang when I was finished. The manager left this out of the pricing until after picking it up. Upon return of the equipment the manager charged me $163 because there was a scratch on one of the decals on the mustang. He said he would send me pictures of the "damage" but never did. He charged over $800 dollars to rent the mustang for ONE day and then at the end because I actually used the equipment the way it was suppose to be used and a decal was supposedly scratched, I was charged an additional $163. The manager was rude and very hostile when I challenged him on the scratch. Because these charges were described in the "fine print" i was obligated to pay them. None of these charges were expressed to me before renting. Please be careful when you rent from this place. They will use the "fine print" to get as much money out of you as they can. I will not go back to this place and I would advise anyone looking to rent equipment to look elsewhere.

I am writing to say that I wrote a review about this place of business, but it was Blue Star Rental of Aiken who gave me bad service. I do apologize for that, but I was shocked to receive a threat from this business. The message started off pleasant enough which is where the manager should have left it. I feel that I should post this message in case anyone ever decides to give a negative review of this business. Here is the response so you can judge for yourself. BTW, the message went to the wrong person. He threatened someone who didn’t even write the post. I have given a middle of the road rating since I was threatened.

This place is top notch. They have great customer service and the quality of equipment is exceptional. They offer delivery and pick up. The process was super easier, and I highly recommend using them for all your rental needs.

The manager did his best discriminating against us because we were not contractors. I used to refer everyone I knew to them, but no more. I have rented equipment as well before a long time ago. Since they no longer want to rent equipment to regular working class people they need to take their signs down and put up ones that say "we deal with contractors only"
