My 8am appointment began with a timely arrival, after which we underwent a workup. My father then received eye dilation treatment. However, we experienced an excessive wait of 2 hours and 15 minutes, during which time we did not see the doctor. My father's dementia makes prolonged waiting periods particularly arduous. We eventually departed without consulting the doctor and were compelled to reschedule for six months later. By the time we left, the effects of the eye dilation had worn off, underscoring the considerable delay. The staff's disorganization was evident, with overcrowded waiting areas. The apparent lack of effective time management resulted in unacceptable delays, even at the early hour of 8am. I recommend exploring alternative options.

I love the eye clinic they are always nice and if they’re not it’s because you’re rude and pain should not cause you to step out of place. A little understanding goes a long way. Dr. Estes is so amazing and I’m sure if it wasn’t for her I would’ve been completely blind in my right eye she has been my savior through my entire traumatizing situation she is understanding in every way and doesn’t beat around the bush. I love that they just tell it like it is.

I'm here now and once again I've waited more than 55 minutes to be seen by a nurse and that's before I get in to see the do tor. Please do better Augusta University Eye clinic. Yes I'm still waiting.

Ive had several eye appointments at this office and everyone I’ve had to wait a long time. They will have you wait up to 2 hours or more, the shortest time I’ve waited was an hour and 30 minutes! I always book my appointments first thing in the morning! How is it that they are always behind!? One time they called me back into the exam room and I was like wow! I’ve been here for only like 20 min how great is this!? Then I sat in the exam room for an hour and a half before the doctor came in to see me and when I mentioned the long wait time and how frustrated I was getting, I’m a very patient person might I add! The doctor didn’t even apologized he said it’s normal for long wait times! So unprofessional and why book an appointment at a certain time when you never are seen on your appointment time!!??

Today was my first time getting fitted for hard contact lenses. Dr Mary Sezer did a great job fitting my lenses. She was very informative and patient. Her assistants did a great job and was very helpful and patient as well!! 10/10 experience
