I can’t say enough good things about Augusta Gardens! It is a difficult decision when faced with moving your loved one into a senior facility, but the staff at Augusta Gardens made the transition for my mom an amazing experience! I absolutely would not want her anywhere else. I do not worry about anything regarding my mom because I know that she is well taken care of. The caregivers are attentive and kind. One thing that I truly value about Augusta Gardens is the fact that they have really taken the time to get to know my mom and her unique needs and are in constant communication with me as we navigate the best way to meet those needs. She tells me all the time that she loves it there. And that the food is great!! I would highly recommend Augusta Gardens if you are looking for a facility for your loved one.

Augusta Gardens provided excellent and loving care to my mother on the memory care unit for a year up until she passed recently. I highly recommend Augusta Gardens to care for your loved one! It was one of the most difficult decisions to make, but we are certainly glad we chose this envioronment for Mom. One reason, we chose the memory care unit was because it is so cozy, and most of the residents choose to sit back in the sunroom together. The staff provides a variety of activities and also plays music or movies to entertain and interact with the residents in the sunroom. My Mom was usually in the there most times when we visited. When Mom had visitors, many times we went into her room for a private visit, but we also enjoyed sitting in the sunroom. There is also an outside area the memory care residents have access to when you visit or they take them out. The hallway is always decorated with seasonal themes, and it is a happy, sunny place! The workers who cared for Mom were the best! We will be forever grateful for their wonderful and gentle care. They would talk to Mom and listen to her. They never forced her to do something. They would communicate to us how Mom had been doing, how she was sleeping, eating, etc. At times, when she needed help eating, they were always there to assist. They would help her with her daily bathing and dressing, too. They were very professional in making sure her medicines were given at the correct times as well. The workers were always kind and caring, and truly seemed to love our mother, too! The front office staff would promptly reply to any questions or problems we encountered, and they always helped us to find solutions to our concerns. The front door is always locked, and someone is there to buzz the door to let you out. The assisted living area is very nice as well, and there is almost always a group playing games in the foyer entrance with a staff member. The workers up front are also extremely helpful and nice.
