Went here for the Juneteenth Festival and had a good time. The greenspace itself is open so it isn't as pleasant when the sun is glaring down but it has nice shade on the perimeter and some benches. I think the Oglethorpe statue smack in the middle is unnecessary, but overall it is a nice space for festivals and events, etc. It is a nice touch for it to be right across from the James Brown Statue and parking wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I found a spot on the street a block away. Being that there was a good bit of vendors for the festival, I like how the street was blocked off to give more space.

Great park to host an event! Augusta sports council was super helpful in making our event happen here. Shady, access to utilities, restrooms near. Great park!

We had a blast at the concert on the greens last Sunday night to celebrate my birthday! The band with Eric Mayweather was amazing!

The only way you can have lunch with James Brown! Cute downtown area and fun statue. It's tiny. Is it life-sized? If so, WOW. If not... WOW. Worth a visit if you're out this way!

This was a very cool place to pop in and learn a little about the history of Augusta whilst driving back and forth to SC. I'd like to see more added to the sculpture park with time. There's plenty of room to expand!
