John and Amy were a pleasure to meet and work with. I visited them on Tuesday and returned on Thursday. John was very informative and truly knows his business. I went to another gold buyer and was offered $660 for the same 2 coins that John offered $950 for. I had done a little bit of research so I knew the 1st offer was very low . Last week was my first time ever going into a coin store, it can be very intimidating not knowing anything about the hobby. John was very patient and answered all of my questions. After checking out all of the local coin shops I found myself back at Augusta coin exchange for my 1st purchase. They were the most helpful and welcoming of all the stores i visited. John and Amy, the couple who own and run Augusta Coin Exchange were fantastic to deal with and so friendly. We sold sterling flatware and it was easy with John. He explained how the price was determined and got to work. Amy offered us water and was so friendly. They are a class act and very knowledgeable. Highly recommended going to see them!

They make the perfect team and should be a model of how the coin and precious metals industry should be presented(a family atmosphere). One on one, straight up and honest!
